And every time it only makes things worse. Dedede did one thing wrong and that's fucking it. After that, Kirby has no one to blame but himself. Little pink asshole. Xavier JD True, but Nightmare in Dream Land is a remake of Kirby's Adventure, so it's technically the first time he's done something for an evil being story continuity-wise.
King Dedede will always remain my favorite character in the Kirby franchise. He's just a really cool guy, and always the most entertaining part of any Kirby game.
I just absolutely love that he's not just a 'villain' but a rival, and not an asshole rival like Gary, but a brotherly rival that can't do anything right, and I love him for it.
Too bad the Kirby's Adventure version of the battle doesn't have his signature theme. I consider that one to be the oldest and truest Kirby game, because it gave Kirby his pinkness and it was the first time that he had copy abilities.
I just think Dedede's theme is one of the catchiest and light-hearted final boss themes in gaming, no epic beats like the elite four, no organs and grand operas of Bowser, and no dark themes of any other game, and I think it just makes this one more fun to listen to.
Now I want the next Smash Bros. Classic Mode to have a maximum-difficulty-exclusive end fight. "Versus: Sakurai!" (fun fact: Masahiro Sakurai provides the voice of Dedede) It's a giant hyperspeed Dedede with a CPU difficulty more unfair than any you can select in the game, and has unique voice clips.
It kinda felt a bit lacking without _Kirby's Adventure_, but it makes sense given the channel description. Also, _Kirby's Super Star Stacker_ came out in 1998/1999, not 1997 (it was released for the Nintendo Power flash RAM service in 1998, and later on a standard cartridge in 1999).
Yeah, I think I got at least one other date wrong too. And for some reason, I put Super Star Ultra before Brawl in this, yet I swear I knew it came after.

Hardly. They made barely any major appearances after Dreamland 3, granted, they did get a few cameos in later games. It's a real shame, though, because they were awesome.

+PaintraSeaPea I caught on to this theme about halfway into the video. I would have been wondering why Kirby 64 didn't make it into the video if it hadn't. Incidentally, I was curious as to why you showed the mini bosses in place of the Dedede fight when it came to Nightmare in Dreamland. I know the stage theme for 7-2 sounds more to the tempo of the original theme, but the "fountain of dreams" theme is still Dedede's theme just at a slower tempo.
Armoured Vault Boy I would've, but Meta Knight doesn't really have a musical theme to tie it together. Maybe I could just show the battles and compile the different songs?
Is it weird that the only Kirby game I played was kirby’s dream land? Like I played the whole game, and did it again, and then only played the dedede fight
Plus, Revenge of the King takes place right after Kirby's Dream Land (since it was a remake of that game's extra mode), so really, after the very first game, Dedede has done nothing too bad at all.
Really, the only 2 games where King Dedede was the main antagonist was Kirby's Dream Land, and Kirby Fighters Deluxe... and can you really count Kirby Fighters Deluxe?
PaintraSeaPea Sorry, I was wrong. I probably was just confused by the fact that you were showing footage of normal mode or thought that the theme that played during the first of the fight where you fight the bunch small little Dededes.
I put dreamland 2 there because i wanted it to have some representation, but its theme was the same as the original game. so the only way i could do it without being redundant was to just show footage of it during the first song.
the focus of this video is specifically dedede's boss battle music used in most games, not necessarily music that happens to play when you fight him that isn't his theme
