Old Age: Don’t Make the Mistake of Living with Your Children and Grandchildren 

Don’t do it. Keep your independence. Keep your visits short. Enjoy your own life, don’t try to immerse yourself in their life. If you become physically challenged chose a place that can help care for you. That will be a great gift.

I am 61 woman. I agree not good to stay or live in children, especially with kid. Many comments, and they do not know what we feel. Tired pretending being ok. deep inside my heart hurt. Nice to live in small house alone with small business

I HAVE 8 CHILDREN (49,47,46,45,44,42,40,37). ANYONE CAN IMAGINE WHAT WE DID TO MAKE THEM RESPONSIBLE ADULTS. I HAVE 6 INLAWS AND 10 GRANDKIDS. NOW WE ARE 72 & 75, WITH SO MANY HEALTH PROBLEMS. WOULD IT BE A MISTAKE IF OUR CHILDREN ARE HEARTILY WELCOMING US TO LIVE WITH THEM? THE FAMILY 2+8+6+10+ ARE LIVING IN SEPARATE DISTANT PLACES BUT WE ARE ONE IN THE BOND OF LOVE FOR WE WORSHIP A MERCIFUL AND EVERLASTING GOD. SO, ALL THAT YOU SAY IS TRUE BUT OUR DESTINY, ALL I CAN SAY, IS UNIQUE. I DON'T KNOW WHY? WE ALWAYS LOOK UP.

You can rest assured the children of someone that has something for them to inherit will be like circling buzzards in your last days . They couldn’t care Less about anything else.
