Keep in mind mate nothing wrong with the jb weld but it will prevent you from ever running a weld over it again. Can’t blame anyone for pinholes tho, old alumium is shit to weld
Great video interesting to watch! as a fellow Brooker Trekker owner I have had my fair share of cracks in the hull! When I get a crack I put T-Rex waterproof tape from Bunnings over it (generally on the outside off the hull) it is awesome stuff hangs on even with the force of the water rushing past it, the real beauty of this stuff is when you do want to get the crack welded properly you can get it off with eucalyptus oil and it is good to weld, I usually wait until I have a few cracks then get them all welded at once.
