Indeed, a different world! When did Bangkok become a 'mass tourism' place? I know it's always been on the hippie trail and was popular in the 70s and 80s but that was just a small segment of the population. When did people start going there in their masses - the beach resorts etc? The mid 90s?
@@markdixey3180 Yes..mid 90's. I live here 35 years. I've seen it g4rowing out of proportions. Thge mentality of young tourists is horrible. No respect for customs and traditions.
