You don't (and likely will continue to... won't?) see many drive pedal reviews on this page. It isn't because I don't like them. The ones that I like.. I like a LOT. But I usually don't have a lot to say about them. The Fault isn't like that. I like it a lot, but it's more than that. It's not a "set it and forget it" pedal. It's a wealth of sounds, textures, and features that will force your hand on what you thought you wanted out of a drive pedals gain staging and EQ. And it will flip your conceptions of each of those on their heads. But most of all, it will shake the foundations of whatever neighbor has the misfortune of living next to you when you realize just how much great noise can come from EQ generated gain. The Fault is whatever point on the Richter scale Family Force Five was singing about. The Fault v2 proves that the year of the sliders is more than just a phase, mom. This thing is great.
