Back in 1951 the town of Burnside, Ky (including my great grandmother's childhood home) was flooded in order to make one of Kentucky's largest tourist attractions now known as lake Cumberland. My brother, Fisher Flynn, and I sat down trying to write a song about that, and instead came up with my very first murder ballad.

The first song I heard from him was fucked up brain, right after I completely lost my memory due to a concussion, was going through an unwanted (but needed) medical retirement from the military due to it. Things were bad, actually worse than what RU-vid will allow me to say if you catch my meaning. Keep pushing forward buddy, the only thing that can prevent us from moving past the bad into the good is ourselves. Much love, and wish you all the best.
