Just a comment to quickly say that if you can't watch this video in your country or there are any strange ad placements/intrusiveness with non-skippable things and stuff - that's NOT me. I'm currently in the process of a copyright dispute with the owners of the Classic Nursery Rhymes people (and yet not on the original video - fuck knows...), so until that's all sorted, I'm powerless to change anything. Yes, along with demonetising, we STILL have to deal with this shit, despite entirely being in the right. Ah well - hope you enjoy the season regardless - this one brings back many memories and it wasn't even that long ago!
i could swear i heard that cry sound effect at the beginning. is it from spyro? Where that hippo eats the apples that make him huge. what a random sentence.
I would like to say congratulations on being the first RU-vidr to review The Classic Nursery Rhyme Collection. I never owned it when I was kid so I stumbled upon on RU-vid and thought it was quite unique. I always wondered if someone would indeed review it, and look at you! Love you Caddicarus!
Think the devs felt that a human boss would be to easy but they could have had him use your combat and parcour skills forcing you to chase him and counter someone as skilled as you.
Watching this Season today, the day that Stan Lee died. At 4:02:16 hearing his magnificent voice makes me tear up. Rest in peace Stan Lee, to us, you are a superhero!
Jack Corner is based on a real person in the 16th century is actually about Thomas Horner, who was steward to Richard Whiting, the last abbot of Glastonbury before the dissolution of the monasteries under Henry VIII of England. The story is reported that, prior to the abbey's destruction, the abbot sent Horner to London with a huge Christmas pie which had the deeds to a dozen manors hidden within it as a gift to try to convince the King not to nationalize Church lands. During the journey Horner opened the pie and extracted the deeds of the manor of Mells in Somerset, which he kept for himself.
1:28:18 Actually, ampersand (&) was considered the last letter of the Latin alphabet for sometime, until it stopped being recognized as one. Besides, & is by itself a combination of letters (rather than a plain symbol), specifically e and t, forming the word et, which means "and" in French.
Y'know Caddy, it's been awesome seeing so much back-to-back of your seasons like this... It's interesting to see how your craft has changed and refined after years on RU-vid. Over the past year and a half I believe you've really hit a good stride! The year is still young, and here's to the rest of 2018!
I have no fucking idea why, but I just love the thumbnail for this video. Of all thumbnails for both the seasons and just the videos in general, I just love this one so much. I feel like it's bringing back nostalgia for some 1980's - 2000's show from the UK, but I know it probably doesn't exist. Anyway, it makes me so happy to see this thumbnail.
1:21:10 _"My parents are bacon and sausages!"_ What's best about this joke is that Walt Disney actually did it in 1933. Google images for "three little pigs disney cartoon father picture on the wall"
"Saturday's Child works hard for a living" and here i am being one of the lazies people on the fucking planet eating chips in my underwear on my couch watching all of caddi's cadicarus seasons 1-10 in a marathon
I adored Farthing Wood, I even bought a bootleg of it on DVD (cos they never released the whole series on DVD). I loved that it didn't sugar-coat things, it made me feel genuine fear for the characters I liked since I couldn't predict the writing (and yes, I was already doing that as a child) and it fascinated me in the same way documentaries do nowadays.
My parents are bacon and sausages! (Also some of the rhymes are creepy... *cough* *cough* Baa Baa Black Sheep 🐑 Seriously, why does it just end with no music or anything?! Other than that, pumped for season 10!
Hands-down season 8 and 9 are definitely my favourite seasons. Holding virtually all of the episodes that made me subscribe to Caddy’s channel. I seriously cannot watch the seasons without cracking up at some places. I.e the shadowman opening!
Jeesus, I just realized that Peppa Pig is older than me by like 6 months. Good thing I was never raised to watch that soddingly sorrowful sow of a sausage specimen. 1:43:39 Holy wanker, that is life scarring.
I don’t know what it is about Caddy’s series but everytime I put these long compilations, I feel so comfortable and end up falling asleep so much easier than usual.
I really hope Caddy reviews Ape Escape 2 and 3. Ape Escape 3 is one of my first two games I ever played, the other being Viva Pinata. Both bring back amazing memories and I wonder what Caddy thinks of Ape Escape 3. Speaking of Ape Escape 3 now I want to play threw and try to 100% it again. Welp, time to go and play.
as bland as Peppa Pig is, I don't think the narrator is necessarily a bad inclusion. if you shift your perspective for a bit and put yourself in the shoes of a child with impaired vision, suddenly the redundant narration makes a lot more sense, as it's describing what the characters are doing. it goes from being an annoying waste of time to being a positive effort at inclusion for people with disabilities.
Awesome video & content as ever Caddi :) keep up the stellar work as always! Here's hoping that the copyright dispute snafu gets resolved as soon as humanly possible.
4:27:31 for some god-knows-why reason I knew Kingdom Hearts 2 was gonna be on this list, yes that intro was god damn slow it toke me and I-sh!t-you-not 11 hours to get through it. 😂
Anyone who knows whats up with these seasons videos? (btw haven't watched any one of them, since I have watched every episode anyway, so I'm sorry if he already mentioned it previously, just curious)
And that's actually what I love about these top 10's, the fact that it's the person's opinion. I celebrate differing and dissenting opinions, as long as the discussion is pleasant and mature, whichIthinkistoomuchtoaskwiththeinternetbeingwhatitis.
Willow Wick It's more like the anonymity allows people with the predisposition for assholery, dickishness, self-entitlement, and that "every man for himself" attitude to behave that way without fear of the consequences.
Willow Wick I also take it that you didn't read what I said "quickly," where I say that the internet is like that. And yes, I have been using the internet for a long time. 20+ years, in fact, when the internet was mostly only used for research and learning.
41:19 For me not until world 5 and even then it's not entirely bullshit, it's just a number of specific parts, like Eat At Joe's. 41:29 In this part, do a running jump and hover towards the wall. 42:16 Get to the right edge of the screen and run from under it before it lands. 54:23 asspull 55:57 Pumba can't take it anymore LMAO 1:11:47 Best jumping spider
Normally I find that bad controls don't come across visually if I haven't played a game, but Lion King I could see what he was talking about before he said anything. Holy shit that looks maddening.
about that "3 stages in and we've had one good classic crash level" comment in the wrath of Cortex review, Crash 3 started off the same way with one platformer level, one free roaming level, and one vehicle/animal level. Other than the quality, what makes this progression any different? Again, quality aside.
The oddest thing I was scarred of was the old nickelodeon studios logo, I think specifically the one that played before the SpongeBob Squarepants Movie
4:18:34 feel this. I really don’t care for the Beatles at all actually 😂 but I appreciate their inspirational stuff to other people, like Izzy for example who I love soooo it all works out lol
i'm so glad I made a youtube account! now I get a notification everytime caddicarus makes a new video P.S I love your videos caddicarus, keep up the amazing effort and don't let youtube bring you down! can't wait for the complete season 9 video! :D
You cant go back to ac2 after playing black flag or odyssey or something and expect it to be incredible by the same standards. Everything is relative and when compared to newer AC games like black flag ofcourse its not quite as good.
