Liking what you do. Music or no music is OK. Love old cars but particularly older professional cars like hearses, limos, flower cars etc;. Love the style, grace and stately appearance of the 40's, 50's and 60's. So if you spend a little more time viewing and reviewing these vehicles it sure doesn't hurt my feelings. Nancy's guy Frank here.... never go back to music. Your comments are worth more than generic music, you see and can comment on things that some folks may not notice. Drawing attention to items in view of the camera that may be overlooked, no matter the subject is old cars, buildings etc. It is nice that you view the engines when you can, I would also suggest that when possible show the dash boards, and what small parts may be still usable on them... if you notice a radio in the car show it. Radios are now very difficult to find for restoration. All old radios can be restored, no mater how bad they have deteriorated, there are people who specialize in doing that. Good luck on your new channel.
These videos on vintage car salvage yards really help others locate parts. I watched a video several years back and that's how I located some stainless steel side trim I'd been hunting.
Great stuff, nice little amble around the yard. We have nothing like this here in the U.K. Nice little Ford 100E at around the half hour mark. Love it.
At 37.25 your question on the engine being removed, most likely someone needed the transmission. The engine and transmission were pulled together, engine and trans mounts torched, exhaust, linkages. A lot easier to get transmission off engine setting out of car, loader would have pulled it out than set engine back in car. Most yards if body panels are damaged will flip vehicles on their sides and remove componets.

Thanks for a very steady, calm video with no squealing tires or stupid loud music. You don't have to know each year, make and model of car but when you see a name it will help fill in space by trying that just as a suggestion.
I feel kinda sad.. everyone was once brand new, with proud new owners. How many girls were proposed to. How many were bought from a service guy, who didn't return.They went Down an assembly line. What kind of day was the guys on the assembly line having. Makes me think of all that.

It's a regular salvage yard. The drone footage at the beginning of the video gives a high level view of the property. You can Google for their phone number to inquire for parts.
