I love East Asian culture and music very much and I really enjoyed Mang Chung's soft & gentle voice and how it flowed delicately within the song. I very much loved how they used the traditional sounding music and how it blended beautifully together. 💜㊗️🎶

Yes 芒种 (mángzhòng) is the time of year when the grains are ready to be harvested. It is the title of the song not the singer. 👍 Thank you for the reaction.

As someone who loves music, I started by just watching your video about Elden Ring. And go to your RU-vid page to watch more of your videos. I was pleasantly surprised when I found this video. I'm Chinese and I put this song on my playlist. This song is very popular in China. I'm glad you in the western world are listening to it. Your comments on the song were very professional and easy to understand. As for the instrument you mentioned at the beginning, I think it is Guzheng, a Chinese plucked instrument.

Great video, love your content! Band is called "Interesting" (音阙诗听 - Yīn quē shī tīng, roughly means "Listening to Soundless Poems"). When pronounced quickly, sounds like the english word "interesting". Singer is Zhao Fang Jing (赵方婧). She does a number of transitions from contemporary voice to traditional chinese opera voice in her other songs. The group has their own youtube channel as well, and it's pretty solid if anyone wants to hear more of their content.

you should check out Arirang Alone by So Hyang. She has one of the most incredible voices I have heard, so clear and precise, beautiful and powerful, something that resonates on a very visceral level. Check out the live version wih 14m views. the song itself is a mix of traditional Korean with classical and pop.

I'm still here. I was looking around and apparently her name is Zhao Fangjing. Mang Chung seems to be the name of the song. Wicktionary says Zh in Zhao is pronounced like the S in meaSure. The rest of the name seems to be pronounce as it would seem.

The name of the artist that actually performed this song is Zhao Fangjing and I wouldn't really trust google translate because it kinda messes most of the things you translate using Google translate
