Hadiya's part in this song is in the Darbari Kannada raga which uses a scale with pretty much the same notes as the Aeolian mode: C D E♭ F G A♭ B♭ C (any note can be assigned as C, and it can also be notated as Sa Re ga Ma Pa dha ni Ṡa where lowercase means flat and a dot above means the higher octave). The most important note is D / Re and the second most important is G / Pa. The ascending scale in Darbari Kannada is C D E♭, E♭ F G A♭ B♭ C (or S R g, g M P d n Ṡ) and descending is C A♭ B♭ G F G (F)E♭, (F)E♭ F (C)D C (or Ṡ d n P M P (M)g, (M)g M (S)R, S). It's a profoundly solemn and serious raga which I think comes across in this performance very well. Also the meaning of the title is "Say "He,"" where "He" is God. If you do any more South Asian music reviews in the future it would be REALLY interesting to hear your reactions based on some info on the raga and its scales / notes / emotional impact which you can sometimes find pretty easily if you google the song name + "raga."

First of all, I love what you're doing here. This is by far my favorite react channel on YT. I don't go out of my way to comment often but I have some song recommendations that I would truly love to see you break down. They're quite different from a lot of the stuff you've done so far. Bridge by Amon Tobin Lady and Man by Khruangbin Black Flag and Lady Bountiful by The Cactus Channel Atlantic Oscillations by Quantic I would love few things more than to see you break some of these down (especially Bridge). I haven't seen anyone else react to them, let alone break them down, and that kills me, as I think they're all extremely well crafted songs with interesting compositions. They're kinda hard to classify genre wise but there's definitely a lot of jazz and funk influence in there. I really hope to see some of these broken down on your channel one day! I think you'd really enjoy them, and I know I would enjoy the reaction! Might even introduce people to some new music they love, which always feels amazing!

Lot of love from Pakistan. React to more of Coke studio and Nescafe basement songs. Coke studio is the show which is producing high quality perfect music from a long time. they include all Great singers and perform songs with them, and every single musician out there is a legend in his field. so the music quality is always awesome. Whereas Nescafe basement includes new upcoming youngsters which are not popular , Zulfi is the Director/composer of these songs and he is such a Great composer. They also try to focus on Instruments and give extra time to musicians only. i.e there will be a part of song where only musicians will perform not the singer. so the give credit to musicians.

You did fantastic job. I am from India Namaste from here. One thing I would like to mention that if someone singing classical especially Hindustani and Karnataki classical musical can you prefer not to pause, what she's singing is pure classical thing. And here we say that music put us relm of liberation. We see music as spiritual journey. And here classical are made upon that. If you take pauses it's ruin the experience. It's just suggestions not for all kinds of music just for the classical one.

The long sustained notes in the background of this song are related to the mysticism which is the speciality of sufism bz the lyrics are about the spritiual journey of soul..this song is composed by xulfi who is a top music composer of pakistan.he is the main guy behind nescage basement songs. Coke studio songs of pakistan have their own vibe...they are also composed by the another top music producer "rohail hayat" and "strings" guyz..u must love it ..don't forget to check some songs like jugni by coke studio and "par channa day" etc

Love how you are so involved and kinda in a trance when u listen... very few people go so deep when listening to music... do listen "jilawatan" of pepsi battle of the band version by the band the call. Xulfi is producing nescafe basement and he's one of the best guitarist. Do listen to this and I guarantee you will love it.

New fan, watched many of your vids, I hope some day you do the song Visions by Haken, you did one before, but you must get a lot of requests so no worries if there is more demand for other stuff. Anyway thanks for the good work.

The song title "Bol Hu" means "Say Hu" or "say he(the one god)" was part of the poetry of a famous sufi saint "Sultan Muhammad" who was a decendent from the family of Ali (companion and son in law of prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h)) Sultan Muhammad later got the title “bahu” (one who is with Him), for his constant remembrance of HU (Allahu).
