A recently rediscovered film provides a unique insight into a forgotten corner of the east end, once home to over 50,000 residents and a host of industries. It captures a bustling Dalmarnock in the mid-1960s, just as the first high-rises were being built and before the canyons of tenements were demolished. Made by local amateur filmmakers associated with Dalmarnock Parish Church, the film was formed part of a collaborative project with pupils from Riverbank Primary School, examining what it takes to build a community.

Loved this.. Looked in the mid 60's just before I was born. Loved it for the record of the old church. It was an amazing building. It was a sad thing to watch when they tore it down. Couldn't name people but I know a few of the family would be able to.
