2024 and i always comeback to this. I remember listening to this in freshmen year in my class. 2015/16 was the best. I hope we can relive these songs in Nav 2 (whenever he drops it 😮💨)
Róbert His stuff now is terrible. I mean don’t get me wrong he has probably a good two songs from now that i mess with but the rest are just bullshit to me.
This era of nav is definitely the best! I love his new stuff! Im a huge fan of the brown boy album. But nothing beats those early deep vibes a lot of artists give you when they re just starting out. I hope he gives us more of this soon!
facts he had way more to prove to people with these old tracks unfortunately most artist get comfortable after they blow and start dropping trash I'm still looking forward to nav dropping something similar to these tracks but if I'm being honest I doubt he will & that's coming from a huge fan
recently nav stated he would start making his own beats again, hopefully he will return to this sound that made him unique I don't have a problem with the albums he released recently, but I miss this vibe and I hope he can recreate it, or improve no matter what the brown boy will always be one of my top artists
All tracks (off memory, I may have a few incorrect) 0:00 - Brown Boy 2:57 - Diamonds 6:27 - Make Your Mind Up 9:23 - Mission 12:36 - Nothing On you 15:54 - Over 19:10 - She Know
I liked this NAV because he was relatable, glad that he's had success and hasn't fallen off in the mainstream - but his new music isn't the same, I really only listened too 'Perfect Timing' and 'Nav' and of course this.
This shit is so fucking good, even NAV himself said he made better music when he was broke on the Tim Westwood interview its crazy man I miss this sound
the production value he had before he got mainstream and signed hits different. content was so substantial, real, raw, and from soundcloud? who posts em for free? bruh, dedication at its finest
Sometimes to get ur name out there u gotta throw freebies out there. He could’ve released these songs anywhere else but i think them being on soundcloud gave them a different feel.
Fam old nav was something else🔥wish i could erase my listening memory just to relive hearing his tunes for the 1st time again, more specifically TTD at night👌🏾
memories.... when i still was bed ridden i tried to commit suicide i had to learn how to walk again it took 6 months all these early NAV songs got me thru that shit one of the toughest times of my life
I remember being In 7th grade listening to nav in 2016 then lost everything to a house fire still dealing with things today but I just stumbled on these gems and realized most ppl don’t know this Nav and never will imma gatekeep
I’m new to nav but he’s one of my favorite rappers now. my brother used to play his songs a lot and I had no idea who nav was and I didn’t even know his name. I go back and listen to his old songs and I wish I listened to him earlier.
Everything I hear a lot of shit on certain artist, I tend to agree after discovering some of their most recent stuff, but not going to lie I struck gold here with this sound from Nav. I make an effort to look an old, unreleased, or independent productions. Crazy what a label can do to someone's sound
Became a fan of nav when I first heard his song “minute” after that juss been listening to him everyday and he never let down with a whack song all of his songs are super fire really fuck with him
Wow The man who invented the game this was his early craft and I just have to say I’m astonished how he started out with such fire and continued to carry the whole game on his back
It’s so sad to me how NAV is now as an artist compared to how he was coming into the scene. The quality of music lyrically, production wise and how his voice sounded is so different.
I've been listening to nav since 2017 and currently hes in my top 2 in artists, him and carti. I can say 100% now that hes mainstream, not producing his beats, and not on SoundCloud hes 100000% better. This nav is so much more enjoyable
Back when nav used to hide his face and we’d spend time trying to look him up on google only to find photos with his back turned or his head down 😭😭😭😭 I miss 2016
I listen to this like 19 times a day, everyday lmfao.. Straight up BANGER! He aint like all them ARTIST who just be usin dat *AUTHENTIC views* to get they hits up to go HAM...
@@jokenboy4983 yeah he got hella shit in the beginning when he was getting bigger for it just because he wasn’t black but people always gotta hate about something you know
say what you want but I started listening to NAV when ASAP Ferg dropped what do you do, and this sounds like the NAV whose music I fell in love with new music isn't bad just not the same trap vibe I got off this music. Emergency Tsunami wasn't bad, but it felt like the label took over his album and tried to stuff it with features. NAV used to hop on a beat by himself in his bedroom and snap, this new stuff just doesn't do it for me, I hope him making his own beats again gives a better end product. XO4L
