[Old] Devil May Cry 2 Dante New Game Speedrun -  

Re-uploaded for quality enhancement. Run was done in PC version the HD collection.
Dante New Game any% done in 45:58, using the real timer.
This run has taken a good 9 months to get, if you include all the revisions to the strats. This also requires a high amount of luck to have enemies do what you need them to do and not cost too much time.
Overall I had strong start good luck, executions for most of the run, which is very difficult to get, and also had major saves for 2.
Mission 15 and Mission 18:
1 - Mission 15 has no guaranteed way to keep each wave cycles consistent, it all depends on your adaption through the situation and how white orb drops would cooperate. The lower hp you have along with high style rank maintenance the drop chance of white orb would be much higher. There's no guaranteed way to jump into Desperation Devil Trigger (Majin) immediately after the hp reaches red from this point. Time was already ticking and I have to act fast to gain DT access.
2- Mission 18 Argosax the chaos was a disaster. The set up didn't came up in my favour as it continued to provide me bad pattern to the point I had play a long with it (take a risk). I also suppose to able afford another small devil star if orb manipulation in Mission 7 (train room was a super successful rather than half way done. Thanks to misbehaviour misra.), which would makes my despair embodied fight much faster.
Overall I'm pretty mixed about this but satisfied at the same time. Considering this run could have REALLY been sub 45, however sub 46 was my goal. I may come back to this at some point down the road, but for now I need a break from this category.
