Please excuse the slop, and appreciate the fact that this here is a bonafide dry-ass electric guitar sound. The Tone Tubby is much better than the WGS Invader that was previously loaded in the cab. If you don’t know the origin story of the Carmen Ghia, you should look it up. It’s pretty neat. DMB Cosmic Crunch for the light breakup. BMF Purple Nurple for the thicker grit. The latter gets close to that Faces “Stay With Me” sound. Maybe that’s why it’s the only overdrive pedal I really like. ☮️

The Ghia is such a great amp. Huge regret buying the Z-28 over this. I'd love the 35th anniversary one with the master volume and fx loop.

The funny thing is that I was debating between this Ghia and a Z28 (not the mkii). I would still love to have one of those someday. It’ll probably be my next, actually. My first Z was a Route 66 which has a great JTM45-ish sound, but I must say, this thing just has such a musical tone. I’m officially a Dr. Z fanboy, and I think the Z28 is a very desirable amp.

@@Matthewtaylorn I'm a huge Z fan boy now too 😅 The Z-28 is a great amp but I think it's way low down the list of his amp imo obviously!
