I love watching Efren shoot! I'm the same age as he is, and started when I was 14. He just makes it look so easy with his amazing shots and position play! He is definitely the best player in the world!
Honestly I think there’s a good argument to be made that Shane right now bests Efren at his prime. I don’t say this to stoke fights, I love to watch them both!
There will never be another as good as the Magician, there will be those who try, they may get close, but there will never be anyone better at the game of billiards than Efren Bata Reyes.
EFREN REYES GOAT! I am in Israel and have seen MANY Efren matches. This was UNREAL! Rack 5: 18:53-2054. Just BARELY more than two minutes to smoothly and seemingly effortlessly running the table. He is truly THE Magician.
with his cue acceleration and consistent follow through it makes it look as if he hits every ball easy. No one else's stroke looks that easy and smooth.
That table was rolling like a 3 cushion table, it must have been perfect conditions. Efren is so good in his age, I believe due to his positive attitude and friendly demeanor. You can't achieve the same results if you're unhappy or miserable.
Incredible skill like Efren's is a joy to watch! Whatever the game he has no equal. My Filipina bride knows him to be a fine gentleman. We live in Eugene OR, USA
Efren is the GOAT, at least for now. The current generation has a lot of talented pool players that have come onto the international scene much earlier in their careers. So time will tell if Efren stays the GOAT, but the young men playing now have a long long road ahead if they want to take the title from Efren.
Earl is good, even great, but I’ve also seen matches where Earl gets angry and smashes his stick. I’ve never seen Efren do that (maybe he has), but Efren doesn’t act like he’s the greatest and is humble beyond words. To me, Efren’s character along with his ability, makes him the best ever!
Efren is the greatest of all time. Always enjoy his matches. To the fellow doing the commentary - it's not necessary to pitch Efren Reyes' greatness. It's too much. Let the pool speak for itself.
