This is my 4K UHD compilation video about winter operations of the old soviet ER2 EMU trains in Latvia. Operated by Pasažieru vilciens. Filmed throughout the 2022, some footage taken along the future Rail Baltica high-speed rail line corridor.

Yeap. New Škoda trains are expected to enter service in September 2023 earliest. It will take a while (probably more than a year) until they replace the ER2s completely.

True, but I doubt that some train manufacturer would reproduce such loud and old school engine sound (like you hear on the video) on the new modern trains 😁
