Oh yes the old event towers were definitely OP that they will proceed to 1 shot every enemy in its path totally not being sarcastic this is not a joke event towers used to be so good especially gladiator it was always the best and will continue to be the best (This is a joke don't ratio me)
I think that sledger is very underrated bc it can freeze enemies like for 2 seconds and it has very good damage i know gladiator does more dps but sledger can freeze by a lot of time and it's a bit expensive but you just need level 3 to do a lot of freeze. Also pretty good when paired with accel
I think both because the old gladiator is bad but the shredder, commando, and swarmer looks good. The new event well look great and decent for matches. (The new and old event towers look good)

Actually gladiator is a very good early+mid game tower (now) As new event towers sledger or executioner is clearly the best one Like sledger has a decent damage (lvl 3+) and executioner can be useful if you use the farthest target for the hordes so idk
@@HardcorePPGFan sledger already has FAR MORE dps than gladiator, although you can only place 6 it still deals more dps than 20 gladiators, and for executioner I dont know much about it but its dps isnt really good.
maybe old towers because they were so op and did such good damage and had evry high dps but new ones are prretty like gladiator it can shred enemies in early-mid game and executioner is very goodin crowdcontrol and you can solo molten and NORMAL with it and thats pretty good if you ask mebut i still perfer the old event towers
sledger vs glad depends one what your using them for since selfger can technically just freeze lock with max of em anything that can be freezed and its usefull for guardians while glad is usefull for speedrunnig early game and allso usefull for late molten speedrun (i allso forgot the freeze mechanic changed so now u need atleast 2 sledgers lvl 3 to freeze 1 enemy after both hit since it takes 2 hits and i hate it)
its either old event towers now are really good and useful (gladiator and swarmer) and the rest got nerfed so hard that no one wants to use them, (exept archer i think, i dont think that one sucks as bad as the others now.)
Idk much about old ones but they were probably better, one of the things I know for sure is that commando was top tier and only had the downside of no hidden detection
new ones. they arent THAT broken, so the game wouldn't be place some commandos and u win, the towers shall be good, but not SO op.. since, as i said, the game would be too easy and boring

The new ones win everybody who likes Gladiator is just going to say oh he's better no sledger could do incredible DPS even better than the Gladiator if you have four sledgers or the max amount you can do better DPS than Gladiator and executioner if they hop back in time they have a bug and everybody's go to reply saying how do you know their gender it's just my opinion and remember at sledger does two times damage to Frozen enemies if you have four that's eight times damage per swing I don't remember the max amount but it's pretty op and everybody's going to be like sledger can't hit enemies which are hidden who cares on the wave seven or eight you take a little bit of damage from the hidden Rush and plus sledger hit two Targets or three and if the hidden is right next to an enemy yeah it freezes the hidden to and if The sledger hit the enemy right next to the hidden guess what it does damage to the hidden

Technically executioner does not have an old version,so he shouldn’t really be in this vid,pretty much most of the event towers have some potential to me.
I am honestly an og player and I remember all these towers and when they were busted and glad is fine the way it is tbh I think swarmer is alr but the other ones like the commando which we all got our towers KILLED for just to get it and have it be useless now so i think towers like that should be buffed like instead of making current updates like events they could improve on the game in its current state reply with your thoughts
sledger is a broken and underrated tower i don't see why more people don't use it. It freezes for 3 seconds, does double damage to frozen enemies, does 10 more damage than max gladiator and hits a 0.45 speed with commander ability

Executioner is better than, I'd say Gladiator and Frost Blaster. It was op with that one bug, so much so that he easily beat all of them, but since that bug was fixed I'd say old event towers.
Personally sledger to me sucks in terms of DPS Considering that you need a commander just to help it but even then it still has low DPS it’s only good for DPS at level 5 the only true way to makes up for its low DPS at earlier levels though is it’s ice ability and toxic now sucks due to its glitch being removed and the flying detection ability of executioner is useless since by the time you get both hardcore it’s completely useless and hidden detection is so expensive by the time you get it most of your teammates would already have hidden detection on powerful towers and honestly to be completely honest all three of the towers have bad prices no hidden or expensive upgrades that would be completely unnecessary as you get to the later waves

Ngl, i would consider old event towers better, im not an og good player but just an og player, but event towers seemed pretty good those days. i miss gladiator doe, ever since i saw it it was my favourite tower... Maybe they would add gladiator back in the future and make it a limited time back event? and maybe it would be the first event to be added back into TDS, but better.
So glad is good. Toxic is not rlly used in strata anymore yeah considering soldier did get its major buff i cant consider it that much worse especially bc of hidden. Sledger is probably the most balanced event tower but bc of meta there are better options. Executioner is great but there are better options still, prob be good on chaos mode tho. Commando... It rlly needs a major buff-. Archer and frost blaster also needs a major buff. Though opinion based u could win a fallen game with just frost blasters back than so it was decent in a sense and nerfed for no reason-. Swarmer is alright but better options exist. Slasher needs a major buff too. Best event tower? Is this even a question its new gladiator obviously. Considerably the best early game tower so i dont think there can be much disagreement.

Elite: Let the viewers decide :) (Elite, I'm not expecting you to read this, bcs it's too long) Me: The old event towers, such as Commando was legitly a good tower, and so were the thers exept frost blaster and gladiator, gladiator sucked back in the day, nowdays the new gladiator compared to the old event towers it's mid, but the old one compared to the new ones, it's mid, although frost blaster was really bad back i nthe day, but even if it was stronger, if we get the old frost blaster compared to the new ones, it's pretty good but we can all agree that it's about dps not slowing down enemies, Moving on to the subject of new event towers, the executioner was decend by hitting both flying and hidden enemies, (although hidden detection is gainged at lvl 5)it get;s the job done with early hardcore and other events which include flying enemies, toxic gunner was good but curently november 25th 2023 it got a buff making it a good dps tower and an option for both support and good dps, I'm not saying sledger is also bad, his damage is really good stacking up to 4 enemies, 400 dmg per swing insane, but also deals more dmg when enemies are frozen, so sledger was getting the job done 100%, but it lacks hidden detection and a slow firerate, gladiator is excelent for crowds and hiddens, although sledger penetrates lead and gladiator doesn't, but its ability covers the good dps and makes it really op, scince it's cheap and good for early game, the new event towers were focused on cool things and imagination, while the old ones were straight up a powerhouse, So old event towers were op and had great dps and utilities, but new event towers are getting complicated and op, sucha as jester whose damage can go insane with special bombs, or executioner if you use the correct targeting, so yeah, new event towers are creative and op if used corectly, but old ones are no joke It's a tie between old and new event towers, but if you managed to get here, I'm impressed, you got alot of patience reading this :]
new event towers are WAYY BETTER i honestly think that toxic gunner is on the top 10 best towers 50% slow down no place limit can do damage its wonderful and it belongs in your loadout sledger my fav tower with incredible damage incredible slowdown and it also looks cool but I think glad is better ya that's the only event towers I have sledger gladiator and toxic gunner all are good and are good in strategies

new event towers win because they got executioner what does it give? it got a glitch which can make u do 100k dps if u do it correctly and even if it wont be 100k dps itll shred bosses like umbra,frost spirit, void reaver
wdym shredder did decent damage? 2 max slashers have more coverage, more dps, cheaper and automatic knives throw. shredder barely got to use his max dps due to absurdly short range (cant argue with commando though, he really did got a nerf)
Sledger with engineers war machine sentries and herself shreds enemys with ease It freezes something like 10 slowbossed into a small regoin with all of them spaced 0.1 studs apart. Then when the explosive comes it deals billions of damage and when engineer is set to strongest it can kill all of the slowboss spam
If you get old commando, frost blaster, holiday archer, slasher, toxic gunner and swarmer with his bug and get new gladiator, sledger and executioner You can solo hardcore
OLD zone shredder is good frost is bad archer is good commando is op glad is bad bee is good New zone all but not commando, slasher, frost blaster and archer are good but bee is normal
ok let me explain why units always get oneshotted even tho enemies are weaker than the unit (press show more if you dont know how to see the whole explanation) *pls read the end before reading the explanation why i posted this* the enemies that have yellow shield and a unit has more health than them the enemies with the yellow shield wins the unit that has more health loses because the yellow shield has an effect which causes all units to die instantly but if the unit has more health than the yellow shield the yellow shield is gone and the enemy is left with its normal health from now for example a monster unit or a templar who wins? templar because templar has a yellow shield. even tho the monster unit has more health the monster unit will lose because of the templar having a yellow shield. (templar will lose if the monster unit hit him 2 times in a row coz monster does 1.5k damage unless a circuit boosts him) another example who will win a railgun tank or an error. error will win because it has a yellow shield now that everyone understands HOW mecha bases always lose to the balloon. yellow shields have an effect which keeps one shotting/hitting units (i added this again if you didnt understand how units keep getting oneshotted even tho enemies have less health) another example who will win? a mecha base or an error that has 59 shield health? wrong even tho the error has less shield health it will still win because the shield health is still there. so its not good for using units in fallen unless you replace dj with accelerator or other towers like minigunner or militant or other random stuff. (i only posted this so you guys know why units that are stronger than the balloon always loses)
@@tedkeem i decided to explain this coz everyone and almost all youtubers would complain of units that are stronger than an enemy like the balloon vs. mark 5 and the mark 5 loses they havent even knew that the yellow shield has an effect which one shots units lol
Lmao ofc older towers were better bc older were stronger and now new event towers are good for what enemis we got now. My favorote is sledger alr on lvl 3 can kill abnormal boss and its usefull until boss cames
