Miss Lori, not only did I like this video, I loved it! I appreciate and love your videos and you! I am soon to be 73 years old and consistently learning new things from your videos. too, much of my favorite and loving times are from when I was a little girl and my family, from the Missouri Ozarks, would meet up with family in Daisy, Arkansas, to fish! Wonderful memories. My little family so enjoy kale and 'pot liquor''is delicious soaking into cornbread! what a wonderful feeling to go out to your garden, keeping an eye on all the wonderful things that the family enjoys. The family we met up with each year lived in Hurst, Texas. Thank you so VERY much for your videos. I appreciate them so very much, more than I can ever say! God bless and stay safe. sent with great appreciation and love, from the Missouri Ozarks, "Nancy".

Watching you do those beans brings back memories of my mom and me doing them years ago. I got my recipe from my great aunt, and mom and I made a total of 12 quarts and 16 pints of dilly beans the last year we canned. A close friend had given us 5 bushels of Contender beans, and we got 90 quarts of green beans besides our dilly beans. I haven't made them since 2001. We've had some hot weather here in Missouri too, last week three days over 92. Plenty of rain though, and for that I am thankful. Thank you for sharing your time and talent, I love watching you and Mr Brown. May God richly bless you, sister in Christ

Thank you Miss Lori. 🙂 Gosh! I think your garden is at least a month ahead of mine! I do miss the longer growing season in the south. My sis made dilly beans one year and they were delicious! I'd like to try that this year. Yes! I could just eat the kale for dinner!😋🤤 For what it's worth, I didn't like kale, collards, chard or any of that stuff until I grew up.😄 Blessings! 💜

Miss Laurie, you are so worth watching When one of my sons was about 4 years old I was trying to get him to eat cabbage so I told him, "John, rabbits eat cabbage" to which he replied, "Yes. And then they go vomit". He is now 55 and loves cabbage, spnach, collards and all other greens. I cook them pretty much the way you cooked your kale. Love your videos.
