You are absolutely right! Finally someone who can actually put a comment pertaining to the actual topic. Most people in these comments can't even comprehend what this video is even about lol
I think that with time and software updates the Cameras on Samsung flagships just gets worse and worse. I have my 21 ultra and comparing the photos it took from day 1 to now there's a difference in details and processing. It looks a lot softer now than before.
@@francisco5500 my cameras doesn't have any scratches of some sort as I really take good care of them but the photo quality it takes just keeps getting worse every update. So I decided not to update it to One Ui 5.1
The processing power of the newer phones definitely show on the main cam footage of the A54, but if you pay attention to the background, it's clear that the S20 Ultra did a much better job (on both front and main) at stabilizing the video
@@SomeOne-rw6gz Battery life :( I got the A54, It's kinda good, I really liked it so far, No downside for me, I wish it had 4K 60fps video recording. It's not laggy at all, Note that i only use it for calling and social medias, Nothing more :D
My points exactly I'm using a OnePlus 7 pro and would never substitute it for a long of midrangers today. Flagship phones have a density in them when being used
Not really I have both and the midrange stayed with me for 3 then went broke they are good for a cheap extra phone. if it stays for 3 month with the owner then that's the owner problem.
The front facing camera looks more natural on the a54 by far so I prefer it. If we're talking about quality though. The A54 has worse quality in front facing, and s20U has less quality on rear
I would say the A54, although on the front selfie camera it was a cool tint, but the rear camera had good quality, not too bright or too dark, but just right! The S20 Ultra had more brighter and warmer colors, which could be good for certain areas like night scenery, but at this scenario, it was too warmed up and brightening, which is not quite good. I'll choose the A54 for camera quality, the S20 Ultra I would choose for performance.
I got an S21 Ultra for $300 about a week ago. Aside from there not being a warranty and software support not likely to last as long, the phone is great. Id say its likely better to buy an old flagship rather than buying a current budget/mid-range phone.
This video shows the change in colour science and ideology over 3 years. S20U had a whitish skin tone which is the more favoured beauty standard in certain Asian countries showing the company's emphasis on the Asian market. Whilst the midrange tends towards a more natural look showing the shift to a more global market focused approach.
Always flagship is always camera and all around king. But the software update is the limitation of the devices, but the rear is planted is all time flagship
Honestly my problem with phones is the feature set. I want wireless charging, but then you're usually moving up to a flagship, but idc about the camera that good and the processor that squeezes just a bit more. Really, I'd happily buy an A-series phone if they had wireless charging and if I liked Samsung.
My concern with getting an older new flagship would be the battery degrading over time. Ideally, I would get a new mid-ranger some 6-8 months after released when it's cheaper because of newer ones coming out.
Old flagship all the way! Especially if it has update support for 4 years. I had this dillema of either buying a brand new A32s or S21+. I bought a resell S21+ for like 10 bucks cheaper than the A32s. Phone still works like magic, best device I've had in life so far.
Especially on the rear camera, A 54 for sure. But I can argue also for the front facing camera because the colors and the filling look also better, for the A54, Of course though the quality of the image like the definition and the sharpness is better on the flagship s20 u
i think the only reason why people would be considering an older flagship is mainly cause of performance not camera capabilities. the front maybe the s20 just a little bit but the rear the a54 is miles better.
The Note 20 Ultra was my driver for the past 3 years or so... despite drops, daily use and all... kept pristine and was running better than many new midrangers 😂 now... S24 Ultra is from another #dimension
I have the a34 as of right now, but I previously used a note 8 which is over 6 years old now. the back glass is cracked the battery has issues and the phones lags a lot, the camera however has always been consistently great
