Old Folk to be Hounded by LGBTQ+ Fruit Loops - Gender Ideology in Care Homes 

This is really cruel. Elderly care is in a woeful state of understaffing as it is. Dementia care is atrocious in this country already. This is beyond heartbreaking

Ive taught people with dementia. Its not just once a day, it can be several times an hour. We had to have laminated notes on the table saying 'you are at X gardens and Y will be coming to take you home' because some would panic every 10 minutes as they didnt know where they were. It is a horrendous thing to watch happen. I cant imagine the horrorshow this will create.

My mother is in a care home with dementia and they asked me what is her gender and I said she is an 89 year old woman and isn't interested in that sort of thing, just make sure that only women help her if she has any personal issues. They need to just get on with their jobs rather than wasting time on this stuff. It is disgraceful to try and push this ideology on elderly people.

Every day for 6 years I had to break the news to my mother that her husband, my dad, had died. The thought of her also distraught at the loss of her breasts is beyond belief. Leave the elderly alone transgender ghouls, you’ve harmed and then been denied the vulnerable young - get your hands off the vulnerable old.

Most care homes employees haven’t got time to regularly shower people or make sure they get the right clothes. Don’t understand how they’re going to have time for this.

This is very concerning. It's unbelievably cruel too as elderly people are at the very last stage of life and we should be focusing on ensuring they have all their basic needs fulfilled. Adequate nutrition and hydration, to be kept warm, to be appropriately medicalised and human contact with their loved ones maintained. I swear to God, if any of my relatives were indoctrinated with this crazy shit, i would kick off.

There are care homes where residents have to share rooms.

I remember my father, he kept fussing about needing to buy a new watch because his was broken, it wasn't broken he couldn't remember how to tell the time. these people are bloody insane time and money wasters, it makes my blood boil, its fiddling while Rome burns, care homes are under funded crapholes, the staff are paid minimum wage and the mental health system is none existent in this country and they waste time and money on this crap.

Not even elderly people are safe from this ideology...I long for the day when this crap is history.

Weird, slightly annoying thing that’s been happening at the nursing home where I work, during the last year or so: we have bingo, where the elders can win prizes. Which, one such prize they can often win..? Is SOCKS! Because useful, right..? And of course they can win all different kinds of socks, depending on what’s available. But I have noticed, as of recently, that a TON of them have been “randomly” winning pride colored rainbow socks! To the point that I keep seeing elders with them EVERYWHERE! Even though probably some 70-80% of the elders there..? Don’t even know the initial meaning of that! And they sure as heck know nothing about the brave new gender ideology meaning! So here’s old demented Agatha, in her wheelchair, absent-mindedly humming, and perhaps drooling as we feed her, wearing a brightly visible political symbol that the nurses have put on her, with absolutely ZERO idea what that means!! Which, I find this immoral… They would NOT be doing it with political party logos, or (other) religious symbols! Then again..? I don’t even know who buys these socks, and there is always plausible deniability, though. But I suspect we have a TRA in our ranks!! (Or, best case scenario, someone who is pro “diversity and kindness”, but does not understand what these colors have come to mean.) So far, my minor acts of rebellion have consisted of throwing these socks in the dirty laundry, whenever I see them, even if they’re clean, and bloody NEVER putting them on any patients!! And I also say some rather terfy things every now and then, when I know I can get away with it. And yeah, go figure… Almost ALL the elders are GC-by-default, because they were never indoctrinated, type people!! LOL, and the recommendation for carers to push gender ideology, and “respect pronouns”, while simultaneously ignoring dementia concerns..? Is the most patently ridiculous and immoral thing I’ve heard in.. at least a week or so!! (Too much craziness, and too MANY immoral things on my radar, clearly. 😛) And not only do I refuse to be re-educated, but I also CANNOT be re-educated! Because it’s not that I don’t get it… It’s that I get it entirely too well!!! How do ya think I went from the thoroughly brainwashed TRA I used to be, for more than a decade, to my current position, people..? Ain’t no cure for that. But I could gladly take over their presentation, bombarding them with everything I know, and be an absolute bloody NIGHTMARE, a.k.a. the TERF from HELL! LOL, will just have to see how I’m gonna play my cards, if this stuff ever comes for MY work place, but do rest assured, I will NOT comply. 😝

worked with brain injury in under and over 65 since 1989. I remember amputees screaming as they had forgot, again. while working in a over 65 functional MH unit in sleepy Dorset (all on section 2/3) back in 2010/11 they brought in a new 'tool' which everyday a member of staff had to approach each patient and ask then their sexual orientation, Everyday (which took a lot of valuable time). we lost part of our budget if we didn't comply. as we ask all these questions on admission and often already know the patient its a total waste of time. after being threatened with a punch often I used to fill them in myself, often with very silly responses, as did some of my more humorous patients, often old farmers. They also punished us for not being racially diverse enough, I had an argument asking if I should, like the Navy 'press gang' random 'racially diverse' people in the street over 65 and lock them on the ward. Muslims and other religious groups rarely end up on MH wards as they still have their faith and faith leaders to care for their psyche.
