Hi Val and Mike, lovely video and nice for you to meet up with friends and their I love the photo of you Val with a dog on your lap. Love to you both from Joanne and Chris.xx ❤
Always good to catch up with old friends unfortunately it is so easy to loose touch these days even with all the modern communication such as email and Facebook ect
Great video again Mike ... I can almost feel the cold .... way down here in Sydney 🥹🥶... perhaps you can find out something for me .... just before you arrive at Dunster station .. ( 19:05) as you look along that road running beside the railway there are a pair of red and white gantries ( like goal posts) placed across that road and about 40 metres apart ... have you any idea what they are for ? Every time I see them my curiosity gets the better of me ..🥹😀
I was interested to see the 1957 Mark 1 Pressed Steel bogie corridor full brake van in Minehead, which I saw on the webcam at Blue Anchor being sent there yesterday. I presume this is going to participate in the Spring Steam Spectacular. It would be nice if it were to be restored and used regularly on trains as it is such a unique vehicle.
Your Train layout is so cool. I was wondering have you both ever been to the Blue Belle steam railway and Tenterden Steam Railway? if not those 2 are very nice ones too I totally recommend it.
Thank you. Yes we went to the Bluebell Line some years back and really enjoyed the ride. I have uploaded a video of our visit there which can be seen on RU-vid.
