Ruan mei said "become an AEON". Aeons are the deities that you pointed out from the myriad celestia "Fable about the stars". Simply put, she essentially wants to become a god herself.

@@TheKycT I heard Aeon the first time I watched the trailer. It was easy to hear if youre familiar with the term. Spoilers for those who havent done this quest but Im pretty sure RM's only focused on her research into specifically the Propogation. Her goal of becoming an Aeon isn't touched on IIRC.

In Terms of power the only thing in Genshin that can match an Aeon's power is the First Descender. Even then every single destruction eminator is a planet destroyer. The way it works is these Aeons represent a path of life a pathstrider can take. They gain powers from the aeon for walking their path. Eminators are equivalent to Full Power Dragons in Genshin who are stronger than Archons. Eminators get a greater amount of the Aeon's power and represent the path directly. Even if an Aeon is dead their path does not close. You can still walk that path unless they are absorbed into another Aeon. By now you probably learned enough to where this will make sense.
The second trailer you watched was about the Aeons. Aeons aren't gods in the traditional sense but fill the narrative role of gods in the game. Aeons are basically the embodiment of their respective 'paths'. Paths are more or less ideologies or philosophies. An example is the three faced Aeon with the puzzle pieces. That is Xipe the Harmony who embodies the philosophy of Harmony. From a gameplay perspective the 'paths' that Aeons embody work as job classes for playable characters. For example characters on the path of Destruction are DPS characters who often have self HP draining mechanics with a mix of single target and AOE. The path of Abundance is used for healers, Preservation for shielders/tanks, Nihility for debuffers and DoT damage dealers. There are some more paths as well but this comment is already getting long.
Huo Huo is such an often underrated character, her banner didn't do great but she's proved her value over time as a powerful healer, buffer and the best cc/debuff cleanser in the game. Her banner should be rerunning either next patch or the one after she's one of 3 chars who haven't had one yet, and she will absolutely carry you up to endgame where she's still very useful (especially if you want to eventually go for the likes of Kafka and Black Swan). We'll know next patch banners in a day or two when livestream happens. I'm hyped you're gonna play the game, I hope you find it as enriching as myself and others it just ticks so many boxes, looking forward to future videos.
Huohuo is a great character but her kit doesn't make her design justice. Take her ultimate: unleashing Mr. Tail only means giving energy to the alllies? It's a bit lame. In her trailer, she gets possessed and becomes a badass exorcist, but nothing in her kit plays like that.
Huo Huo's banner did poorly not bc she's a bad unit or because she's unpopular, it's mostly because she was the last new unit before Penacony and before the Kafka rerun, Black Swan and sparkle, not to mention her banner had truly atrocious 4 star units.
then what do you consider as gods? would you say greek gods like zeus are gods or god-like? bc aeons are the embodiment of a certain aspect of reality which can be seen as a god. especially since they are portrayed as the strongest being in the universe and can only be killed by other aeons. although kafka did say there is one other way to do it
Aeons are as good as gods in the world of HSR. They are the supreme beings. So the distinction between "god", "godlike", omnipotent or not, is pointless.

If she truly understands Aeons, then she can create or become one. She has similarly proven her understanding of living beings by creating new species.
And whole planets 😂 She also implies that someone else has become an aeon because she says "perhaps I too..." like Nous was created by the first genius society member but I can't think of anyone who actually became an aeon so I'm really fascinated

I think it's fascinating that she says "I _too_ ..." and not just "I," like who before her successfully became an aeon? Nous was created by a human but I can't offhand think of anyone from lore who became an aeon and I'm pretty deep into this game.
@@worstpartis20068 iirc it isn't so clear cut how a mortal becomes an Aeon. It involves striding a path that doesn't exist, not following a path that has already been claimed. Nanook did not follow the path of destruction, the path of destruction is his footsteps. If paths are like guidelines for how to live, the Aeons are the authors.

It's hard to understand the second trailer (Fables About the Stars) without any knowledge about the world of HSR. Basically in HSR, the universe is governed by Aeons (gods), each one embodying a Path (ie. an idea, aspiration or concept). Aeons were not born as Aeons, they rised to Aeonhood after walking a particular Path to its very end and became one with it. So this trailer is basically about introducing them briefly to the player. It's easier to figure out now, but at the time of release it was quite mysterious and abstract indeed.
The deity's or you can call it aeon on this game have some sick design, and on that trailer only half of it some of them only have splash art and some didn't even reveal yet and the fact that anything can ascend to godhood so there's at some point they will add some more
It's unlikely any Aeon will become a playable character (presuming any aren't already), simply because unlike the gods (including the archons) of Genshin Impact, an Aeon has been reforged as a being that exists entirely within the concept that is its Path. They tend to both perceive and operate on a scale too great to directly interact with us; it's reasonable to claim that most of the more prominent characters in Star Rail are beings who an Aeon was able to at least momentarily notice, and one proposed definition for an Emanator (I'm going by Herta's writings, which are biased yet also honest) is somebody who upon being regardled by an Aeon proved in the tiny minority whose instinct was to try to look back - and further survived the attempt. There are Aeons who have some aptitude for role-playing "mortal being"; unfortunately this seems to coincide with them becoming dead. (An Aeon's death does not automatically close off the Path its birth opened up, but it doesn't make life easy for those still following it.) Ironically, the Interastral Peace Corporation's corruption is almost entirely concentrated at the next-to-bottom layers; both the people in charge and those who made the video are entirely sincere and dedicated to ends at least nominally altruistic. Again, Herta's writings seem to provide the best explanation I've seen for who they are, how they came to exist, and what principles underlie the entire corporate culture; I'd suggest scouring her space station and reading on that before you actually have to interact with the IPC directly. It explains things you'll be seeing that are otherwise very easy to misunderstand. The IPC is not really your friend, but there are pretty much always better alternatives to directly opposing it.
You had menrmentioned you cover one peice. The voice actor you really liked for the IPC recruitment video actually voiced in one episode of one piece. Bill Butts, the voice of Owlbert who is the IPC host for their intergalactic broadcasts has done a lot of work over the years for anime/games/whatever. The one piece episode he is in where he voices Jack is S1.E746 Gun'yuukakyo: Arekuruu Shinsekai no Kaibutsu-tachi
U should react to character “keeping up with star rail” its will show the character in game animation and what they do so ur not that confused if u play the game while also be entertaining because of the host and also subtitles are normally recommended
