I saw Gr Ch Nigerino in the 80's. He was a small, shy dog but he was all business. He was nothing to look at but always got the job done. This must be near the coast with all of the sand.
Real deal APBT’s. Perfect bulldogs with lots of terrier genetics in there. That extreme energy that a true gamedog has comes from the terrier side. Terrier=terror. Terriers got that name for a reason...
The term 'terrier' is derived from the Latin 'terra' which means ground - this is a reference to the work of the terrier, which would 'go to ground' chasing its quarry
It’s amazing to see these dogs, they look nothing like modern Pit Bulls, yet these are the real deal, If fighting is banned nowadays do these kennels still exist ?
False, of course they don’t look the same because these videos are on a vhs tape. The blood is still alive and it’s plenty of yards that are just as dominant as this one. You just gotta know the right people. And Tom Gardner is from NC and I’m in NC. It’s definitely alive and still hunting
i love your dogs, and was astonished to hear names i havn't heard since seventies crenchaws jeep, are your dogs good for companion , i have good backyard (fenced and willing to have spring pole built, house dog
please help me get a real pit as i lost my 2 old ones and had to be put to sleep . i am so lonely without my pits , i am suffering of guilt which i know it was the only thing to do especially spending 10,000 on trying to save a strong pit but 2 vets showed me as i already knew what happened as the cancer spread fast after we thought she was cured but came back with a vengeance and learned a big lesson.
really is it so that you can trace its old ancenstry but what about the last 7 generations. did you in breeed or do some line breeding or you found other people that had great dogs. i do not trust todays registry i go by old ancestry but the look and the feeling i get from the dog regardless i its a little leggy or long, conformation is nice but also should not be the only aspect or you will loose the dogs personality
dont want to show my dogs to adba because they are money hungry sob's they registered a ban dog as a pit. looked nothing of pitbull . looked like a thick shorter cane corso another reg. popped up called the universal kennel club would register your dog from a front and side picture of the dog, and , of course at a fee and not cheap so b/careful with these registies go by the way you feel about the breeder. and the dogs and past bloodlines. and how does it relate to today's bl
Adba is the best. They support the breed. They host shows. AADR does too but not like ADBA. If you single register a dog they actually research the dogs.
and they are trying so hard to get a pet from the owner and they won't touch them why? people think they are trying to attack the camera person but they are just begging for love, it sucks, these dogs are extremely owner pleasing, more than any breed, so easy to obedience train, so smart and lovable, in the 20's all southerners had pits, they were given away b/c of the big litters one guy asked 20.00 for a pit , yea he will see 20'000 when he burns in hell. shows how money is all, they dont care on the people they give too, i think that this kennel is good but i would never transport a dog by plane. i must see the owners and home and yard, no yard no dog.sorry
@@mydude8731 you sound like an ignorant douchebag. You obviously know nothing about dogs or being a decent human being. Im fine withdogs bring outside and chained but thats not where it should stop that immoral. If you have dogs you NEED to provide them with mental and physical stimulation.
did u even watch the whole video? or r u just assuming these dogs arent treated right? and u obviously dont know anything or much at all about conditioning dogs and what a dog looks like when there excersized just for the dog to have fun and not get fat when your dogs not actively hunting or preparing for a conformation show. and then ur other comment about "why r your dogs trying to play with other dogs" is fuckin ignorant as hell. why cant they be trying to play with other dogs???. do u want them to be tryin to kill each other??. just because they where originally breed for battle dosent mean that u cant break there killer instinct with proper obedience training.
@@emmamiller9683 the video is about 35min long and you have just made a complete assumption about how these people treated their dogs, frankly I believe it's a pity that there are not many breeders left like these who actually have an interest in creating quality examples of the breed, preserving great bloodlines and placing them in the right hands, unfortunately this video is a sight that is becoming assigned to history... So I suggest you enjoy 🤔
