Amazing video (per usual) Sir-Vinnie !!! 👊 I’m definitely using the Travel ticket, I can hunt and increase the area bonus at one time. I’ll be over there until maxed of course I pray that Vikavolt retains its Bug typing especially if the last island is going to main it. (Hopefully it’ll be a skilled healer) Safe to say the next island would be Dragon, Bug and Poison.. I’m pretty set but it could be better SN: Aron should be a good investment because I’m calling it now, with the release of Z-A ? I’m positive they’ll implement Mega Evolutions

You said you count Halloween Pikachu and Raichu as two berry specialists, but then say we only have two skill specialists. You forgot Raikou, Jolteon, and Christmas Pikachu. So I highly doubt Shinx will be skill specialist. From just counting, that means Shinx should be an ingredient specialist, especially since halloween pikachu should be coming back in October anyway. However, I have a feeling Shinx is gonna be a berry specialist from the vibes it gives. And they might consider Raichu to be the "only berry specialist", because the hat Pikachu are limited. Vikavolt gives berry vibes, and Aron gives ingredient vibes to me too.

Yes I forgot those. Christmas pika is so trash I don't think anyone uses it even with perfect stats. Witch hat pika with good stats actually useable even if not as good as raichu, and synergistic with raikou overstacking than other electric types.

My predictions: Shinx - ingredients, leeks at base, energizing cheer S Aron - berries, charge strength M Grubbin - skill, probably a new skill Gonna get that area bonus up early before the event! Gonna spend the first 2,5 days at greengrass and stock up and then travel. So excited!

My main thoughts about the new pokemon goes back to how the Lapis Trio worked. With a group of 3 new pokemon, I've seen thoughts that it would be one of each type, but Lapis had two ingredient specialists and a skill specialist. It is truly anyone's guess what they will be. They could be three skills, maybe even three berries. Personally, I think that the dev team saw how unfair it is to get Onix/Steelix just to have enough berry specialists to cover every type and they're using Aron to have an easier access to Belue(?) Berries. I think everyone agree Shinx is most likely to be an ingredient guy. Who knows what Grubbin is up to, but I think Bug needs a stronger Berry Specialist. I'd say skill specialist though, anything goes for what it would be. Edit: Because I'm crazy, I like to keep Mega Evolutions in mind for the far future of Pokemon Sleep (Legends ZA). Mega Aggron is pure Steel type. 👀

Assuming PP is even harder (pun intended) than lakeside I'll just spend the two weeks at GG instead. Just nap every day for 16 spawns each day instead of getting like 4-6 for the first few nights while missing the (regular) weekly missions. Now that the field bonus spills over there's no rush to go to a new field. Unless the new guys are insanely good I'll probably just grind the field bonus up by staying somewhere else before moving in.

I’m shocked so many people think Vikavolt will change types. Changing sleep type is the best indicator that Pokemon type will change upon evo and the line is all Dozing. If they wanted Vikavolt to be electric, they would have made it Snoozing sleep type

While I agree with you, there are several exceptions to the sleep type - pokemon type relation. Just a few examples I can list: 1 Vigoroth is dozing type, yet Slakoth and Slaking are snoozing. They are all normal types. 2 Slowpoke line are all in snoozing yet all other water types are in slumbering 3 Cramorant is flying and slumbering, yet Delibird is flying and dozing. I think I would want to go to green grass the week the new area releases so when I get the area bonus it would at least trickle into the new area since green grass and two other areas are max out for me. At least this way I’m not completely starting at 0% area bonus when I arrive during the event!

I think it would be cool if the Shinx line actually were berry specialists, so Raikou users could have a second berry specialist that isn't locked behind an event. However, I'm not sure how likely that actually is, especially when we might have a Halloween Pikachu rerun within a month or so. Berry specialist Aron line would also be cool, since Steelix is so hard to catch, but once again, I'm not sure if that's actually what they'll do or not. We'll just have to see.

If I had to guess, Aggron probably won't be in the exp club. However it's a stretch they can make because "pseudo legend" term is fan made. There's no definition that pseudo legends must be in the exp club when pseudo legend is not a game definition unlike legendary or mythical. I was also clarifying a common misconception that Aggron is a pseudo legend so much so it actually has a term I didn't mention: it's a semi-pseudo legend (also fanmade).

I think some legendaries being less than 600 is why recently when pokemon introduced merch for them they called them the powerhouse pokemon rather than using the fan term like they did with shiny.

@nirtheart yeah the Japanese community calls those the 600 club. Pseudo legendary is an English definition thats more specific than 600 base stat and not legendary/mythical. So English excludes Archaludon and Japanese's 600 club doesn't. I think that's the only exclusion currently? I'm only learning these differences recently so I'm no expert.

Yeah, there is no way Aron wouldn't be Steel. It was basically the "basic Steel type family" for gen3, which was trying to normalize the new types from gen2. There aee SO MANY more Rock types to represent Rock than there are Steel ones. .. also it IS a Steel/Rock type, not a Rock/Steel type, so it's more likely to use its primary type anyway.

@Bropenings it's failed in what still feel like understandable reasons tho, like - type gained upon evolving takes over (can change or stay) - pokemon that gained a newly added type as a retcon (Jigglypuff/Magmemite cases) - cases where second type is outright more interesting (Normal/X, like Stufful or numerous normal birds) - Flying type generally being favored due to 95% of Flying Pokémon being secondary Flying Multiple casrs we have even fall into several of these at once. So outside of even having any reasons like these (and I'm surethis isn't an exhaustive list!), the rest is still gonna lean primary in majority of cases

No, we did do some limited analysis on my youtube daily research videos comparing me and Piggy in different areas. However due to players having a huge variation in Snorlax strength, play style, area bonus etc... we cannot actually do an accurate empirical analysis. We rely on theories based on the Raenonx calculator on this.

That's the only progression for Grubbin that will 100% not happen. If they change to Electric, it will be with Charjabug already, because that's when the secondary type is gained.

I have a brief explanation in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pGq2WySYulQ.html I have the theory, but I haven't actually done it myself, my personal experience is thus limited. When I am ready to raise my legendary Pokemon I'll make a comprehensive guide on this. Long story short: Skills like Helper Boost or Extra Helpful S can help you stack berries/ingredients above the inventory limit of the other Pokemon in the team. If you *don't* collect these productions, you can overstack them (max 999 per team member) and dump them in the next Snorlax instead of the current Snorlax. Starting an event week with a super powered snorlax strength. However there requires a huge sacrifice in the previous week (or even weeks) in order to do this.

Spheal is 32/44, -> 24/33. (In Sleep It is ALWAYS 3/4ths of the real levels then rounded) Aron evolves at 32/42, so that converts to 24/32 for Sleep.

@Bropenings I mean, we don't have an electric ingredient specialist yet, and milk is very badly covered by now with just blastoise, I think luxray could be a faster blastoise with a worse ingredient rate. I can't see how vikavolt could be a berry specialist, considering butterfree, I think they will have them cover different specialities like the starters, too early for another bug berry specialist. I could see it being an ingredient specialist, but I don't think they would release 3 ingredient specialists at once, I'm hoping for 2 ingredients and 1 skill like in LL's release. Lastly, we don't have a steel type ingredient specialist like you said in the video, so I think Aggron will do ingredients and leeks and tails are the 2 ingredients without a triple ingredient specialist. I wouldn't mind if it was a berry specialist though, considering that we have to choose between using onix for rock or steel berries and aggron would likely stay the same throughout the evolution line. If they make Aggron another triple tomato or triple beans ing specialist I'm gonna cry 😢

I’m still playing catchup since I started during the Raiku event so I’m not close to unlocking the power plant. I might wait until after the event to use the incense because during the event those spawns already have the chance to be the new Pokémon but afterward they don’t I unlocked Lapis Lakeside recently but I haven’t actually gone yet. Because my main shortage right now seems to be dream shards, I want to stay where my area bonus is higher and then use that 60% cap to send bonus over to lakeside so my first week there isn’t so rough. I also find I have less fun with it when I’m not able to do much

@@justicedinosaur7302 Thanks for the heads up; I’ll definitely double check. I think in this video Brovinnie said they saw somewhere that it’ll work for 1.5 weeks after the event but I could also be remembering that wrong. I do appreciate the heads up 😊

"After 2024/10/31 14:00, you’ll no longer be able to use Aron Incense, Shinx Incense, or Grubbin Incense on Greengrass Isle." The actual event ends 21st October. So you have about 10 days to use the incense at GG after the event.
