You have to be level 72 AND IN ULTIMATE VAULT HUNTER MODE. If you do it at 72 then complete normal and/or true vault hunter mode and unlock uvhm AFTER you’re already op8, your op levels reset

Yes. All enemies and bosses will be overlevelled if you choose that option at the main menu (you can adjust it up or down to your liking).

For the longest time, I thought that each OP lvl was earned by completing the story again and again 8 times after UTVM.

It's an issue where it actually makes your health into the negatives by a substantial amount. There's no point in a shield that leaves you with no health. Well... except Maya vs. a Raid boss, but even then...

if you load OP1 then it'll be 73, if you load OP2 then it'll be 74, etc...

After watching this, I realized you sound more confident now.

You MUST be level 72 (or 80 if you have the Lilith expansion installed) in order to even be able to select OP levels after completing a gauntlet.

Yeah, I follow you. I think the solution lies in playing through OP8 and getting that high end gear and then switch it down to OP4 or 5 to make the game reasonably challenging... but frankly I'm having fun using OP8 gear to destroy level 72 Raids, lol

If a have a shift code for a weapon and use the code, then load an overpower level, what level will the shift code weapon be? Level 72 like the character or will it be at the overpower level I chose to load?

do you start the game all over from the beginning when you overlevel or jus continue where you're at in the game?

Do i have to finish the original story first and then beat Distrutch peak? I have beaten distroutch peak but not able to get the op1 and i am at level 72 and have all the dlcs expect lilith one.

Where can overpower gear be found? For instance, if I go Legendary Loot Midget farming outside the Natural selection annex. Will the loot be level 72 or is it possible that I can get my overpower gear?

Does the Overpower level apply to all Enemies (even out of Digistruct Peak) including Mini-Bosses/Raid-Bosses? And also, where does Overpower gear drop?

If you’re playing UVHM on OP8 and you reset your UVHM playthrough, does it bring you back to OP0?

Yes. You can turn off the over power at the main menu when you click continue.

my friend gave me a glitched gun a while back, when borderlands updated it said overpowered lvl 55, i got a lot of killing to do. also its a an overpowered lvl 55 infinite :D

Once you run through Digistruct once it'll unlock OP1. Beat OP1 and then OP2 becomes available. You have to keep upping the difficulty to unlock the next one.

so are they there own playthru like can i restart the story at overpower level 1?

Question: if i complete a mission in op 1 or higher and get the question item then manage to get my self another op level dose it change the op level on the quest item or are you able to do the mission again? or are you stuck of what you have? Example: If i got "Flame of the firehawk" in op 3 then manage to get to op 4 dose the shield go to op 4 or i can do the mission again to get the same shield but in a higher op level or am i stuck to what the op level has on that shield?

i dont understand. Im lvl 72 have all dlcs, done digi peak. And i get a messege i should do it with lvl 80 to get op lvls ? I cant get op lvls anymore idk

what do i do if i can't get an OP because i don't have max level but i don't have the dlc that allows to get to lvl 80?

i realize this is an old video but i just started playing the game again with a new character, my question is i have OP8 unlocked on my Zer0. i am now currently leveling a Maya, do i have to go thru all OP levels again with HER? or since ive already unlocked OP8 with Zer0, i can just simply select it with Maya as well without having to go thru digistruct again?

Lol I’m back here to see if people are active lmao, Btw the shotgun is the interfacer coordinating element types to certain enemies does make a difference and slag is necessary when in UVHM or TVHM mainly UVHM is a survival requirement, Also if you’re maxed out and wonder why you can’t solo the invincibles on any class lol it is possible for example if you solo voracidous make sure you have a high damage legendary of shock and fire. Infinity pistols are last resort for the ammo sustain, Norfleet is great but any other helps along a sham and cooldown skill mod, Certain people prefer melee damage but that’s idiotic when weapons output higher faster DPS, Have a rubi or grog nozzle as precaution and make sure to target voracidous first with fire make sure you use your skill buff boost or slag grenade, burn off voracs health to 50% then keep watch on the chief and now use shock element on him as long as the chief has the shield on if he doesn’t have a shield you’ll easily kill him and cause vorac to instantly cause a spine damage that no player can survive for long even if you’re overpower-leveled Make sure to run away with the rubi or any heals ready and just wait until chief gets his shield back then use shock again just so you know vorac will not go into his true form unless the chief is dead or vorac has his health dropped to 30%, Killing vorac with this method is far more easier than stacking and looking for glitches, Legendaries are a 90% requirement against raid bosses aggressiveness, prudence, and memory pattern is partial as well as character skill tree. If you fight the ancient dragons and say it’s hard you’re wrong as well the method to kill them is easy as well using Lyudas is my choice with zero I have two of these shock and fire i always go with attacking this Heal, brood, boost, incinerator dragon. Getting criticals is vital also keep watch of DPS/Elemental DOT as it will warn you when the enemies are immune to certain elements, certainly slag against a slag enemy in UVHM in perspective they’re dickheads and it’s highly recommended you blast them with fire and aim at their critical spot and abuse your skill as fast as you can. Lol sorry but many people are appearing here by RU-vid recommending and so it’s only right for me too help out everyone. Btw the Lascaux and sandhawk are the only Blue rarity weapons worth using in raid boss fights preferably sandhawk as it’s more accurate you’d be surprised the Lascaux shreds at extreme close range when fired only in bursts. All it's saying is that I've completed it and to complete it again at higher difficulties to unlock more levels of op enemies. But when I go to the menu I can't select the op level I want...

i gotta question, im about to start 0p1, if I get a lvl 72 sandhawk to start off with, can I get a op1 sandhawk next and then a op2 and so on, or should I wait till im op8 and then get the sandhawk ? im not sure how it works, but I know im gonna need some good guns

how do we get op 8 quest gear if we have done the quest already on a lower op level like the sandhawk because i have been perposely avoiding the quest so i can get them at op 8 once i get there but getting to op 8 is hard so i really want to know if i can still do the quest on op 8 if i have done it already to get an op 8 special quest item i dont want to be avoiding them for nothing.

According to MrCheech yes... You can use OP weapons for whatever lev you've reached. And you can go back to level 72 enemies by choosing to decrease OP
