I was lucky to meet an Irish beauty from County Carlow who was brought up in the countryside in the 1950s..what a simple life.quite rough but nobody knew people who were rich!!At 7 years old she would be picking potatoes in the fields and feeding all sorts of animals..some older men would walk 5 miles over fields in the rain to school..aged six years old!!

Those that don't know this need to come down to earth with a hard lesson in life, that I'm afraid many won't get until they leave this world, for they refuse to hang with better people that are not prejudice.

I and my brother were 7 and 8 years old and we travelled 7 miles one way to grind the we grew on farm is was a water run mill wait our turn 2 to 4 hours the drove our donkey and cart God blessed us for our courage that was in 1938.
Amazing! No electricity, no Tv or radio, no running water or proper washing facilities or sewage treatment facilities, no heating in winter only fireplace. Probably 1 main meal a day. No fancy clothes, shoes, or fancy food, large families of maybe 6 or more children and YET they carried on regardless! Amazing people. How many people would survive that today?

@@ingridlinbohm7682 looking at a general pattern, we can see what the worship of power and ease with treachery does to a people. Then note the " dead hand" always obstructing progress and a people become stuck. Its evil not prosperity that is the problem.
