@@pennysmirlis5989 The Byzantines have built it and the Turks have expanded it considerably. In addition, you don't have to be sad. The Byzantines no longer exist and the historic buildings from that time are well maintained.
Probably you know the sitiations but I want to say it again, we don't bomb ourselves. This attackers were another countries citizens. Believe me it wouldn't happen if it s up to us. :) Actually this is how terrrorism works. They just want to terror us. They just want to make this city looks like in conflicts and chaos. And almost succeeded. Istanbul was 6th most visited city in the world recently and now after 16 years, losts its %20 percent of visiters. But it s not sustainable, I am sure will be better days.
Even though I've never been to Istanbul, my grandfather was from there. I never dreamed how incredibly beautiful it is! Every image on the video is breathtaking!
I've been Istanbul and other places in Turkey...beautiful country. I would visit again and again. I would retire in Turkey if I could afford it. You should visit.
I love Istanbul ❤️ I have more than 700 photos from my last trip and it was so hard to pic the best shots for my YT slideshow. I miss this city!! I wish I could live there! The culture, the food, and the history of the city is so rich 💕
Really beautiful, I was in Istambul in March this year, and it was an amazing experience, I loved the Dolmebace Palace, as well as my visit to Topkapy , and the view from the Bosphurus was breathtaking, Thank you for this video and greetings from Lima Peru.
Teşekkürler, çok güzel bir film olmuş, seve seve izledim ve izlerken de İstanbul'u özledim. Emeğinize sağlık, yapmış olduğunuz her çekim benim için çok güzel, sağolun, varolun :-)
Tremendous architecture, hard to believe how well preserved these magnificent structures are. As always the music that accompany your videos is perfect for the depictions shown. Thanks again for sharing your talent with the world.
Onlar Osmanlı zamanında yapılmış. Eskiden Sultan Ahmet oralarda yaşarmış.(They were made during the Ottoman period. Former Sultan Ahmed used to live there.)
I only found this one recently, my mum used to travel in Turkey and took many photos around the country so its really good to see this footage in such high quality, particularly the interior shots of the big mosques and the old Saint Sophia.
I always wanted to go to Istanbul, now I know that is a must see for me. I hadn't realized there was so many majestic mosques. You were right, when Mother Nature cooperate it really looks amazing. You have captured amazing shots.Thanks.

Maravillosos lugares, ciudades legendarias, construidas con arte y buen diseño arquitectónico. Gracias por hacernos conocer por estos videos especiales, que son documentales
+Mehmet Türkel Thank you, Mehmet! Yes, I want to come back, on my first visit I had enough time only to visit and film Istanbul and Cappadocia, but there are so many other exciting places in Turkey !
@@aliatack19 cry for what? It is known that European and eastern nations were jealous and desired Constantinople for it's size and wealth. Although Istanbul is a beautiful city i doubt if any European would live his city to live in Istanbul nowadays. :)
A world traveler friend has suggested I add Istanbul to my travel list...after watching your video I think it is right. Beautiful footage blending history and nature (Oh the flowers)! Thanks for sharing.
+engineer eem I chose good time to visit, and was also lucky :) Spring with the tulips in bloom, and the whole city so beautiful... Have a nice weekend :)
I first came here for a one-day visit during a cruise from Venice, and within six months I had been back for a whole week. By now I have visited every single place in your video, and of course a lot of others in the vicinity. Love the country and its people are quite liberal, especially everywhere west of the capital Ankara.
@Chris Challouma when i said that it was not a former church??? i said it was a former mosque before convert to a museum.... i not talking about Hagia Sophia here... i said about the Blue Mosque in the thumbnail and other mosques which show in the video built by turks... don't act like hagia sophia is only building in turkey... why you said me turk??? does everybody on the internet are turk??? nice try.... don't post non-sense again....
Wow. Phantastic video! Very harmonic music too. My compliments. Seems like the two frescos you showed inside the Hagia Sofia survived the time...accidently...
In 1978 my History teacher told us he could go anywhere in the world just sitting in his office with a globe and reading books. Now I sit in my office and visit anywhere in the world, learn more, listen to music and don't have to pick up a book. And people think life was better then.
+iamnotfernando shit economy and wars in middle east, poverty, refuges crysis, the breeding of many terrorist organizations, the reveal of more killer viruses and diseases you know things like that make people search in memory for the time when all this didn't exist.
I would like to visit Istambul so much, a lot of friench tol me that it one of the beatifull place in the world. I saw several Turkey's serie, I love them
