Sarazanmai is a strange show, but brilliant in it's own way, and one of the songs, (Kawauso Iya) was absolutely amazing, so using different methods, I've pieced together a full version of this song, I hope you enjoy! (This is not a perfect edit, and you will still have sounds and voices in the background)

It's the 5th anniversary of Sarazanmai, and to celebrate, I've been working on much cleaner edits of these fan edits, in addition to a review of the anime. The dub did a good job with these lyrics. Wandering an endless twilight/morning isn't meant to be/meet again at breaking sunlight/under skies we'll never see is a pretty good adaptation of the original lyrics: 我らの願いは　終わらない夜　我らの出会いは　始まらない朝 (Our wish is for/an endless night/Our encounter will be/on a morning that will never begin) It's interesting that the original doesn't rhyme, and instead groups the words together through the same sentence structure. (Well, deai and negai do kind of rhyme. Kind of. Definitely assonant!) The dub instead tied the lyrics together through internal rhyming as well as rhymes at the end of each line.

The only gripe I have with the translation for the dub is that in the beginning the word tama actually translates to ball not soccer, there was really no reason to change the translation meaning.

@@patrickstrigle4692 syllable count would have made it awkward to sing (soccer and tama are the same amount of syllables). its good to be accurate but flow is important too

Thank you. I made it from different parts of the dub, I took the two versions they sang in the dub and pieced them together. 😉
