i absolutely loved the part when phyllis says "straight people go around and they just assume that everyone is straight, so why shouldn't i go around and assume that every woman is a lesbian?".
Well there goes mine hang on gotta change my Chanel name well I know Ellen but not the other chick wait am I still good do I keep points for Ellen ohh also know Wanda Sykes I hope mines still there
I don't see her appeal at all...I was going to use the excuse that I'm almost as old as these women...but they lover her, too. Maybe I'll find the one thing that makes me fall for her, too.
@Ana Munitić Good point, but I also think that might be because women are generally more bombarded with hyper sexualized images of other women, so to have an attraction to something that you are exposed constantly, 24/7, is not really surprising to me. However, with dudes, I feel like their attraction to other dudes is more internally repressed because of homophobia and overall toxic masculinity. Plus, males are comparatively less exposed to sexual images (in the media) of other dudes. I think that could be the reason for these research results.
my son has told me the same thing. my best friend & I are both straight, but my son says he see the " lesbian potential" because of the way we interact. he thinks all women have it. lol
my favourite colours are orange and orangey pink i liked those colours before i knew i was a lesbian and before i knew the colours on the lesbian flag.
When she said “ straight ppl go around thinking everyone is straight” I was like damn that’s actually pretty deep. Imma start assuming everyone is gay now.
These videos honestly make me feel so much better, I'm only a teen and I found myself to be lesbian. I love there personalities and I wish to grow up to be like them!
NOOO. and you cant make someone lesbian--you either are or you aren't. Straight women can lead a lesbian lifestyle, but it does NOT make them a lesbian. Some straight stroke survivors have become gay from the stroke.
“I just assume every woman is a lesbian. And so when I find out she isn’t then I get upset” I relate so much😂 I too go around and assume everyone is gay until they prove otherwise😅
they need their own show series, like visiting places that would be educational when it comes to lgbt or just trying things, lesbian games like these - I think it'd be fun, love these girls.
Merryn Christian I believe she said queer because many of the women in this video are not lesbians. In fact a lot of them are bisexual, pan, or use no label. The fact is we’re all women loving women, I don’t think she had any negative intentions to erase the lesbian label (as she may not be lesbian herself) and it has nothing to do with misogyny. Also as a lesbian I have no problem with the word queer, I use both bc I want to.
I understand and respect your personal decision to use the word queer, but the word queer should never be used as a default for wlw instead of lesbian (or bisexual). One should never call someone else queer unless that person has specifically told you they're okay with being called that. And since, I assume, she has not gone up to everyone in this video and everyone mentioned in it and asked if they are okay with being called queer, she shouldn't use that word. Just say gay, say lesbian, say bi. Stop lumping everyone together using a very offensive, derogatory slur, that most people (or at least a very large number of same-sex attracted people) are not okay with. I see so many lesbian (and bi women, but mostly lesbians) be erased nowadays in the media because it's become "the thing" to just call everyone "queer".
Please make old lesbians react to Loona / Chuu - Heart Attack music video! It's a cute LGBT themed music video and i'm really curious about their reactions!
Phyllis is right! Straight people tend to assume that everybody is straight, and when they find out someone is gay or lesbian, they go like: "Oh, but he/she doesn't look gay/lesbian". WHAT? hahahaha
I love these so much! I'm having a bit of trouble processing the words though. Intomore, any chance you could caption these videos? I know a bunch of young lesbians would benefit from watching these and I would hate for them to have to miss out because they're deaf and the videos aren't captioned
I would love to see them watch cartoons with lesbian relationships. Garnet (well Ruby and Sapphire) from Steven Universe is the first thing that comes to mind.
