Well it’s reasonably that she didn’t talk much at the beginning, but I love how she speaks more and more and she’s detaching herself from paimon, like in Nahida’s story quest Paimon even says it’s not her decision if the traveler wants to go
@@eralavellan7297 I like the theory of the traveler doesn't know the language of teyvat and that's why paimon speaks for them. But as the story continues, they learn and that's why they speak more and more now.
@@zeroizanagi it’s not really a theory you know its proven since the beginning the first cutscene with Paimon happens one or two Months after she fished paimon out and Paimon is very surprised that she learns fast I think there is even a Voiceline where they talk about that Of course it also could be that she already knew the language but after 500 years sleeping she needs to learn to speak again
I mean like, what's next? Fighting all eleven fatui harbingers, focalor, the god of snezhnaya and a army of dragons? Sounds like it won't be a match for lommine
Considering the Traveller explicitly states that they're *regaining* the strength they had before entering Teyvat, doesn't it feel more accurate to say that we're getting a glimpse of the Old Lumine? 😆😆😆
@@celiamakoa7531 but when did they state they were regaining their powers? their powers are locked away, sure, but i don’t recall the traveller saying they’re getting it back.. edit: got my answer a while ago, thanks for the help yalls
@@Xrinny when she touched a statue of the seven for the first time (if I recall correctly) Each time she gains an element, she gains a part of her original power back
She gets stronger every time she unlocks another element. Also personal head cannon, she fought while flying before so she genuinely just didn’t know how to fight on her feet so she had to learn
@@canphan1375 honestly a vary good theory, but one that implies that they are permanently airborne? If so wouldn't it be near impossible for them to walk?
I love the fact that they don't made a super powerful MC from the beginning. The MC is just getting stronger as the story advance, cause they are collecting the elements.
@@rias.gremoryyy yeah I'm aware. I still loved how they showed her sword skills, dodging, jumping etc. And people often hate on her saying she has plot armor and that she's a Mary Sue but this just shows she's not. She's not always stronger than her enemy
@@17ScionFlames no, except a few details with other characters. When Childe meets the traveler, he's a uses a word that's a bit more friendly/flirty with Lumine, Jeht has a crush on Lumine but not on Aether, Ningguang gives Aether a gift for his sister but she doesn't give Lumine anything for her brother and little stuff like that
I adore Genshin because we actively see her character growth in story. She went from struggling against slimes to soloing gods, and who knows what's next.
It's so poorly done tho. There's never a single quest that focuses on the Traveler getting stronger unlike Honkai Impact's MC. Kiana grows like a Shounen character, getting new forms, powerups, training arcs and stuff, her power level is made a big deal in the story, meanwhile the only thing the Travelers got was a single vague line saying they get stronger after each region. Kinda disappointing.
@@theicecreammachineisbroken654 I mean technically it kinda makes sense cuz the traveler isn’t training to gain more power. More like the power they used to have before the unknown god did a big funny is slowly returning to them. I think prime traveler is probably in the running for one of the strongest characters in the games lore considering they only have a small percentage of their former power at their disposal as of now.
@@theicecreammachineisbroken654 The Traveler has explicitly stated, on multiple occassions, that their power is slowly returning. In addition, resonating with elements in every new nation is also adding to their returning strength. Lumine doesn't need a "training arc quest" as she isn't actually training to become more powerful. She is slowly recovering from the ass beating she got from the Unknown God WHILST gaining additional power as she gains elements. Meaning not only was she capable of throwing down with Teyvat's Gods when she and Aether arrived, she will end her journey far more powerful than that.
@@theicecreammachineisbroken654 it's executed well enough for what it is maybe not as good as kiana's development but it's good enough that you can see her/his (if you pick aether) progress in maturity, experience, etc
I'm very simple woman. I see someone who chose Lumine and even make content with her - I give a like automatically 😁👍✨ Thank you so much for reminding how awesome she is!
I always love when lumine does acrobatics~ she looks so graceful and I love how her dress skirt and the 2 cloths sways behind her. Look at her doing the flips and sht 😂❤❤
The more the Traveler gets the elements, they benefit from the blessing of each element. And during the fight with Scara, Nahida gave the Traveler memories and battle experience via dreams. But even overlooking this fight, The Traveler still managed to beat Signora, and will only get more stronger as the game progresses. So The traveler rn is gonna be like a god by the end of the story lmao
Afterall, the twins were said to have witnessed the birth and death of many stars (which almost states they are millions if not billions of years old) before their journey to Teyvat. Did anyone else notice how when the floor broke in the Childe fight, Traveler fell but with Scaramouche, she parkoured on the falling rocks in heels like a boss! Makes me excited for what's to come, hopefully by the end of the game Traveler's gameplay will be as good as their cutscenes XD
@@ayamii37 who knows. Some sequences can turn pretty epic. Parry in the last arena event was awesome. But it's just a tip. Who knows what we will be able to get later.
@@ayamii37 Unfortunately as cool as it would be, it would be impossible as it would require an engine rewrite; Genshin is still a small team compared to their flagship which is Honkai, and they're not going to rewrite the engine for one character update. Also if they updated the traveler to accurately portray him/her as lore suggests, nobody would buy the other 5 stars if we're focusing on gameplay because the traveler would be the best there is.
lumine had a great character development. finally she talks back to people, her fighting style has improved and has more character to it, she has thoughts and opinions, more interactions on dialogues (even if we cant control them and they are fixed). great great greaaaaat character i love her so much. her skills get prettier each update/region/ i cant wait to see her hydro powers (dendro and electro are sooooo pretty)
As you can see, she actually struggles on one of the jumps. This means that this is only just the beginning and I bet Lumine/Aether fighting scene would be even cooler as the story goes!

if you leave slimes alone for too long, they multiply and become bigger. Or at least the multiplying part counts for the Dendro slimes and the growing part counts for the other slimes. The game talks about it as well in the loading screen tips.

Regardless of which of the two we choose to play. The evolution of the Traveler character is something that we didn't notice much in the time we played, but it's clear that she really exists and is extraordinary.
Given the name honorary knight, first sage of beur, hero of liyue, captain of swordfish, fought 4 gods, was being called non human I think 2 times, got in touch with the adepti, saved a archon, saved one of the 4 winds, was in the khanrieah disaster, did it all in heels ,and still lived

The best ever, my queen Lumine. I hope MiHoyo made their mind and give the travelers new attacks, or the ability to switch between elements. Or, at least, a new skin. MiHoyo, why did you abandon your protagonists like this?
@@AeroBoy354 i respect yours, but Lumine's looks are better imo, her dress, her scarf, she looks so cool and handsome and pretty! Looks like she is a person of light, came from another magical world. As an aether main since i've first joined genshin, i have come to drop a message: 1. We should not be fighting on which is better, but treat each other as equals, as siblings! Just like Aether and Lumine! (Also this edit is awesome ✨️)
