I went to turkey this past May alone and i got an air bnb in Balat. I never felt like i was in any danger. Everyone was so friendly! Traveling solo is one of the best things ive ever done! Balat is beautiful!
@@ritagrechi2663 theres actually quite a few air bnbs in balat. It just depends on what you are looking for. The one i got was for two people the most. I can give you the link if you are still interested
I like this video so much because you show different places of Balat and Fener not only the part which everyone saw. I was many times in Balat and Fener and here I saw something new. Thank you for this amazing video!
Thanks to show the beautiful balat. I am south African and went to visit in March. The boat cruise was also 👍. Food very good. The blue mosque another tourist place.i bought some lovely clothing from the market like victory secret which was so cheap. Slight imperfections great price. Subways are so fast and cheap. Want to go back. God bless
Another beautiful video. I hv visited Princess Island last year. Very calm n quiet area. Our tourist guide for Pamokale was from Holland. He told us that he was in Turkey for the last 30 years.
I thank you very much for this video, and I wish you success and lasting success. I am from Egypt, and I work in Kuwait in education. I traveled to Al-Fateh neighborhood in Turkey. These are really very beautiful places. I wish you success and success.
We have been to the Balat neighborhood twice. Our dear Turkish friend's niece lives there. They have a restaurant and a hostel. it is near the Chora Church which is our favorite. We were there at night too, We felt safe.
This is so funny, I was just in that neighborhood about four days ago. We took the very streets you walked on. When we walked past the auto repair shop and down that street it was a little sketch but was a nice trip.
We visited last year and didnt enter from the river side like most tourists, we ended up getting off on the complete other end and walking down towards the river. I absolutely LOVE istanbul but that 20min walk was the first time we felt scared, unsafe and out of place. There were no tourists and just all locals who were staring at us. Couldnt get out of there fast enough.
Спасибо Ольга.Очень понравилось видео.И хорошо что и ссылку на ресторан дали.Мы как раз собираемся в Стамбул и ищем что посетить.Очень полезная информация.
50 years can't be considered an old building. I think you were wrong, most of the buildings look from the 30s to 50s. It's a very normal and nice area in my opinion, I don't see anything strange.
Hello Olga, I want to visit Balat because the series Cukur was filmed there. How far is it from Istanbul? How did you travel there? Greetings from Serbia❤️❤️
