Your comment about the lyrics being odd perhaps being due to translation problems from the original Japanese is almost right. The problem was there was no original Japanese. The original language was English, written by Masaya Matsuura. It's kinda-nonsense English written by a Japanese man. I'm sure someone's commented already but I'm not looking at thousands of comments lol

I guess every level but Cheep Cheep was refined in the remake. From level 3 on in the original, the stages are broken and you have to sometimes rap off beat and sometimes rap on beat to win.

I always had a hard time with the chicken stage as well, and to me it always seemed like it knew that I was having difficulty - she always seemed to say "Crack, crack, crack, the egg into the bowl" the second time like she was displeased with my raps. I know that's just how the song was recorded, but it's like they knew I'd have a hard time. Also, the first time I got to that "Do you know why we stopped the car?" part in the driving stage, I didn't realise that I was still playing so it ended up going "Do you know why we stopped the car? Guess, what? You gotta do it again." I actually thought the game was mocking me by making the "You failed" animation longer.
