Or he could idk naturally restore the rusted car without the theatrics. It would be alot easier to be like:hey i bought this old junker from a yard sale and wanted to fix it up instead of putting it in ice ,letting it freeze then thaw it out just to have 100s of comments point out he planted the car.
@@solocereal7212 just imagine him frezzing it, puting it into a river, driving back, cuting it and trying to melt it with a hairdryier... weird . Who the fuk does that? jajajah
@@solocereal7212 i just watch it again and hes actually acting like he discover it sliding in the ice? he might think we are stupid lol jajaah cringeeee
Lessons learned: - Porsches grow in lakes where rusty iron ore clings together in car like patterns. - They are harvested in the winter following the wise words of George Foreman: "Only approach a boxer when frozen.'" Joe prevents himself from freezing by surrounding himself with grills with his name on. - Blank number plates prevent BWM's from being recognized as BMW's when harvesting Porsches. Because that is really awkward. - Ice sliding to find items only works in specific regions. It failed in Egypt. - It is safe to store electric chain saws and axes next to children's bicycles. Because they do not exhaust unhealthy fumes when used. Great job! Love how you replaced some of the missing items.
WHAT ?????? WAIT !!!!! You mean he plants all of these toys that all look like they've been ploughed into the same field just for views ?????? What is the world coming to
Wow! From cutting it out of the ice ( Which was really cute) to restoring it. You are a master with making parts to turning the rusted Porche into a work of art. Simply Beautiful. Warm wishes from Sunny California
Don't be fooled. The damage is all his fabrication. Ask yourself why it would be enclosed in ice. The restorations are amazing but the damage is artificially made.
@@fruitloop832 i mean it should be pretty obvious he damages the cars himself. but the restoration he does is still his own work, and is still impressive/satisfying to watch and makes for good content, so i don't think it matters if a car was actually abandoned outside like that for enough time for the paint to rust like that, the plastic would have caked on dirt and corrosion, and none of the parts would actually be able to be cleaned as well as they are in this video, and would require much more effort
@@kranberrysucks Some people can say that destroying toy cars for a video is stupid, but look he is restroing them and maybe making them look better than before. Maybe its fun for him to restore toy cars and making videos this way. It also gives him the paper wich controls lives named-money. So from the first ones i think its really ok to do like this.
I have this pond in my grandparents yard that has a few hundred hotwheels cars in it, which i know because i put them there when i was 12, 10 years ago
Right ? Idk why people get affected of him showing how he found the car whereas the whole video is about restoration and giving it a new look . people these days 🤷.
I love this guy's work it is splendid, he must be an automotive engineer because his restoration of abandoned 1:18 ,1:64 and 1: 24 scale model cars is professional 👌
I loved this restoration, the change in the end is truly unrecognizable, I always wonder how on earth you're going to make it look right but its always just a matter of taking everything apart and cleaning it up and it works miracles with it! I also really like that you try to make your own parts for it whenever possible
The intro is definitely an eye catcher, helps get people interested, not intentionally to be misleading and fake, but deliberately piquing your interest ! It's a fun way to start a restoration video, with incredible content. Loving all of this guys restoration videos
the channel about tab says that he's located in the us but the scenery looks like he's from somewhere around north Europe but the car says "made in italy" with italian text and italian brand (i think Burago is italian) and also the model looks recent ,probably he just destroyed it and froze it. I'm confused
Beatiful result!!!. A little car rescue from the ice and return to the life in your hands. Congratulations from Peru and I,ll see the next restoration.
Never have i ever in my life had a thought that, "oh hey, i know, i'm gonna get in my car and drive in to the middle of nowhere to go sliding on a frozen lake.. in my boots. NO, not skates, just boots!" and then randomly find something i'm into that just PERFECTLY happens to be frozen in ice.. Maybe i should start doing that, who knows, might find a perfectly restorable actual car!?
Okay guys...I completely get the joke about how he planted all of these abandoned toy cars in the ice, or in a warehouse or all that crap. But ffs why can’t we just admire the video for what we came for? Why can’t we just simply enjoy the satisfaction of restoring an ages old toy. Besides it shouldn’t even be that easy to think about how he even managed to put that toy car in the ice anyways. It’s not like it even floats...it’s made out of metal. It also has real rust on it too. If it was fake, it would look like it was spray painted on, and have smooth transitions from the base color, to the rust. Sorry for the long argument, but all of these comments just make me really rather frustrated considering how I actually kind of enjoy watching these videos.
@@schumifannreins295 the answer for your question is on the meaning of restoration, would better if he was honest, like, restoring a toy a broke to do this video.
This is truly an art into itself especially with all the custom fabrications for the little parts that have to be made to measure. I would have preferred classic Porsche silver with red interior but that's just me.
Never been to Sweeden but I guess it is normal to find a rusty ol' toy car underneath the ice in the middle of nowhere and use a chainsaw to cut it out.
I wonder why people have problems with the fact that the guy set the finding of the toy car up. He just wanted it to be more interesting, not necessarily realistic.
The fact that a little kid dropped their toy in the lake and the 90 years later some random guy was like ooooohh good yum yum restoration video is just amazing and fascinating to think about
Yeah, and even if he *did* just stumble upon it... how could he have known if it was something appropriate to his channel before he thawed it out? I don't think anyone doubts he planted it.
No matter how beautiful the content is No matter how beautiful music is, No matter how beautiful the road is to the destination. No matter how successfully this guy drove {his indepth tools, technical expertise, power to visualise the final product once bought by a loving father to his princess daughter who kept it a cosy corner, when time took away dad, and when time took daughter, now a mother and grandmother, then time discarded the toy onto frozen land, mother nature started her work to dacay it, melt it, and began to merge the toy into soil, its original form, The guy intervenes and reset the time for this toy. Mother nature does not mind, she is a mother and patience is her greatest virtue. No matter how beautiful the destination { fully restored toy car}. There are some people who has permanent difficulties in enjoying. But never mind. This is us, the humans If everyone had enjoyed it, I wouldn't have written this U wouldn't be reading it. Awesome nostalgic restoration
Splendid introduction Mr. Bond reminded me of the 007 movie, 'For Your Ice Only." It really frost me the way some toys get the cold shoulder. Fitting that the car ended up an icy blue. Attention to detail out of this lake, I mean out of this world. This comment will self- destruct in 5 seconds, but I'm sure you can fit that! In the meantime have a happy restorative Christmas. Cheers, Kelly
