I’m 48 and my best electronic music was early UK Speed Garage 4x4, Bassline, old acid house & House. So from 1986 to 1992 those were VERY dance times, and now I’m an aged DJ with an 18-year-old Spirit. Even today, I dance at parties like a rhythm machine. Not a single 20-year-old kid is up to my knees !!! ;-))

I heard people from the UK were saying they're more house than us, I'm a chicagoan,, we invented this music we like to share, but don't ever tell us you're more house than us. Unfortunately, it appears to be very difficult to find the truly awesome House Music, along with hotmixes, that I remember from long ago, here on RU-vid. This could be due to copyright laws, etc. I've noticed a lot of the music played on RU-vid is by DJ's who sample songs for their creations that have been used by so many others. This has led me to believe they do NOT understand what Chicago House Music is and why it is its own unique genre. I hope this trend turns around soon!
