My second time grabbing the stage1 wr, after Lia helped make it a bit more challenging. 😍

❗Old School Rally❗ just released into early access yesterday, an arcade rally racer styled after the ps1 era classics.
The handing is fun and very forgiving. Feels like some sort of mixup between trackmania and wrc to me.
The physics are pretty simplified, but they generally work with no big issues.
There's currently only 14 stages with a single leaderboard for each, also no way to view anyone outside the top10.
Still needs lots of features, stages, and general bugfixes to be truly great, but can already be lots of fun.
For the under 10€ asking price it can be quite worth it already. Let's just hope the devs keep working on it and make it truly great! 🙏

I mapped the gas peddle to A cause it’s on or of and the gears to the flippers cause you may as well drive a scooter if it’s an auto

The throttle is definitely not fully on or off, I can definitely get the car to accelerate slowly by applying just a bit of throttle. Not sure if partial throttle is useful though, totally possible that gas bound to a button could be faster.

@@proporo1999 there is definitely graduated excelerator with the flippers but what I meant is the way I drive is throttle full open or not.

Handling is fun, reliable and very forgiving. It's early access and still lacking in many parts but it's also not expensive.

In time trial on map selection there's a button prompt that shows the leaderboard. Y for me. However there's only one leaderboard per stage and there's no way to see anyone outside the top10.
