Old School Sprue Review #6 Hasegawa 1/48 F-4G Phantom II Wild Weasel 

YGBSM ! Way back when... I remember the then new hasegawa kits lined up at the hobby store and seeing them for the first time...the phantom family B,J, E, G, even Rolls Royce spey engined F.G1. Well the box art of the G in the 7004 box with Euro camo and the F-4 E totally grabbed my attention. I think I built it up as a SP in euro lizard camo... Great memories and a great kit !

For a 31 yr old kit it still a great model.

Well I just found one after some time. Also bought some aftermarket detailing parts. I'm sure that after I've built it one of the other other manufactures will release an all new G .

I was very much hoping we would have a new-tool SLATED WING Phantom by Christmas! But will still continue to build the R/M, ESCI & Hasegawa Phantom kits in my stash... :-P

Even 2yrs. later and a Meng kit, Hasegawa lacks fine modern details (aftermarket) but still has the most accurate shape.

Just wait Tamiya will come up one or ZM will👍🏼
