Not gave up on the horde, just gave up to the "Sylvanas horde", bcause all he believe and fight for its not there anymore... yet, this zappyboy show him the true nature of horde when he says "horde is all we have", all outcast and orphans united by an ideal of honor and comradeship, The Horde. Im saying this from a Alliance player perspective, Night Elf day 1 in TBC times; i regret lost vanilla... but play since Warcraft 2. This is the horde Azeroth needs, this is the horde i like to fight, honorful soldiers, not genocide thugs who clap for a burning tree. Be proud of leaders like Varok Saurfang, master of cleave.

It's nota Mak'ghora, thats a 1v1 honour duel, he just went out there to kill as many as he could and die in the process because he just wanted his glorious death in combat

Uh no, Mak'gora is no armor, Saurfang only removed his shoulder plates, hand armor and chest. Still has most of his armor on. He wasn't going to challenge a Mak'gora. In old Orc culture, the "Old Soldiers" that wanted their honorable death in battle, would do this to make certain they would fall. Yet it gained them even more respect, because they were going to a fight they new they would not walk away from, and were going to take as many enemies with them as possible. That was his intention, until Zappy boi,...aka Zekhan as we now know him, tagged along and kind of showed the old soldier how to continue forward, because the Horde Saurfang believes in is still there, which is why Saurfang gives him the same ritual fist tap he gave his sons body when he talked about him earning his honorable death. Zappy Boi has the same courage his son displayed at the wrath gate, even though he has no experience in battle.

kenaleto why? Garrosh died and Voljin became Warchief. It's the same situation as Sylvanas dying and then Saurfang becoming Warchief. I wasnt comparing Garrosh and Voljin

i for one would be happy af if sylvannas wasnt killed off but instead the horde rose against her,and her cowardly ways.

I doubt Slyvanas will be killed at the end of the expansion.... maybe she will die but it wont be the final boss.... im sure something from the old gods will show up as they are in the shadows (probably orchestrating the events currently happening) even now... It wont be like the end of mists, you can rest assure that blizzard's story telling wont be that cheap and bland.

We'll see how they do. The issue of Tyrande. Malfurion, and Jaina all could present interesting conflict (even if Genn has mellowed out). They could also put particular emphasis on what sort of Alliance this new "hardened" Anduine will create, since he's still REALLY green. Blizzard has also stated that they no longer intend to deal with "Making things Equal between the factions story-wise" anymore, and they will do what they feel is best for the Story as a whole first. The Alliance may have more cohesiveness atm, but we also have more to lose. I could see quite a few ally characters getting the axe.

Its a double edged sword, you say they get the centerpieces all the time but Legion was super alliance heavy and also WE DON'T ALWAYS WANT THESE CENTERPIECES! Can our Warchiefs just not be written out to go crazy or die or leave. Can we have a mellow experience for once? Like Sylvanas has been one of my favorite characters since she was introduced in Warcraft 3 and I've NEVER thought she was good by any stretch but this burning of the tree is like what on any possible earth could ever redeem that and its just something that even for someone who loves her and knows shes not some good guy, came out of the blue just because some dying elf made her mad? We don't want this all the time. Take it Alliance, HAVE IT! We want to be left alone for a while lmao

Once again Blizzard focus on the Horde. And playing the battle for Lorderon make me see this is totally true, the Alliance keep being portrayed as total incompetent and idiots, also we had an pyrrhic victory in Lordaron and got saved twice (one by jaina and the other by Alleria).

If you believe the dying elf caused it, you clearly didn't read the story on the website. Her motivations are crystal clear there.
