Hey! Here’s a short tutorial requested by Chris of how I play The Old Time Tune “Cluck Ol Hen” on harmonica.
Build up the melody first
Then add texture
Then add rhythm chording and hand work
Finally, build up the speed!

I try not to look at the tabs), but such details as 'yada' articulation make it quite useful. Thank you very much!

Great, yes tabs can be useful to start with but once you at a certain stage playing by ear is best (call and response style). Especially for Old time with has historically been handed down aurally. Textures and dynamics are often missed with tab and especially with harmonica, it’s the little things the make the big difference to the sound quality
