Great show and unlike the other horror/sci fi shows of the time would occasionally sprinkle in some comedy episodes the same way Rod Serling would with TZ.
@Eilliw Nodrog before streaming tv and radio giving us access to all things entertainment I wouldn’t have remembered TZ as having a sense of humor. I’m sure your right some folks wanted straightforward science/drama with impending doom seemingly surrounding them and personal taste being what it is, I wouldn’t watch Big Brother or Real Wives of anywhere with a gun to my head the sweet release of death would be preferable, but I really enjoy shoes (shows, left that mistake in for effect) of all kinds stepping outside themselves on occasion.
Ok 2 qu 1. where did you find this beautiful scenery? 2. Did you know that Perry Mason was a radio show befor it was tv? They are that 5x 15 min. weekly format. The Perry Mason is actually a long winded serial in the true sense: the whole story might go on 10 or 15 episodes to tell a single story. Then they start another story it too, will go on 10 or 15 episodes. M
SNL has been garbage since the mid 90’s but your Pardo comment made me look to see when his last show was and I can’t believe it was 2009. One of those voices that give you mild sensory overload. Pardo, Cosell, Vin Scully, Keith Jackson, Bob Uecker longtime Packers announcer Jim Irwin always bring back great memories.
😎👍 great series! Interesting that Alexander Scourby played the same radio newsman character in The Cave of Night and The Parade. Have you considered adding CBS Radio Workshop and You Are There , two outstanding shows , to your list?
Thanks for the recommendations! I'll look into them! There are so many great shows! I'm always searching for new ones to put up. Thanks for tuning in!😀
