Salzburg's Old Town (Altstadt) is famous for its beautiful Baroque and Gothic architecture, its monumental buildings and artistic heritage. Salzburg was the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
The fortress of Hohensalzburg, overlooking the Old Town, dates from the 11th century and is one of the largest castles in Europe. The historic centre of Salzburg is enlisted as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

i had been to Salzburg in June 2012 as part of my Eastern Europe trip coming all the way from Munich. i really liked the alpine scenery as well as the famous film set for the famous musical movie called The Sound of Music. Salzburg is also a birthplace for Christian Doppler who discovered the wave compressions called the Doppler's effect. it's nice to have use one of Mozart's pieces as a background music for this video.

I was lucky enough to stay in an apartment built against a mountainside (see 9:17) back in 2011. One of the inner walls was literally the raw mountain. It inspired a song written on ukulele called 'Walking Through A Postcard' by SoulJahm and the apartment featured in the video for another of my songs 'Now and Then'.
