This is not a regular type of video for me, but I was bored late at night. I was making this at 4:00 in the morning, so please excuse any errors I made...... Enjoy
Sorry about some of the commercials, the audio is copyrighted, so I can’t play it, but I really don’t wanna remove the video for you all. Hope you understand.
Well in my opinion & comment Chevy builds the most adaptable power there ever has been even for a hot rod they've knock Ford outta the box ever since 1968. As far as Ford Chevy and Dodge go in comparison these days they are in definite competing competition as to which one will rust away faster under the road salts in certain states. As far as Dodge they build the most ill riding most un-user unfriendly piece of shit there ever was or ever will be. Dodge can stick their Hemi power up their own asses if ya can't build a transmission worth a shit. They're all getting to be about the same. Nothing but heartache from the day ya take em home off the lot and the dealers more corrupt than Pelosi and Adam Shifty on their bullshit warranties... Dodge by far loses the market due to their own sheer stupidity. Dodge builds a potent motor with no trans behind it and little if any aftermarket speed parts.. Might as well call Dodge trucks Fiat Motors Inc.... Fix It Again Tony trucks..
@@alecj9227 they have long seemed to have the worst premature corrosion so most of the few remaining older RAM trucks remaining in Eastern Canada have massive rust by the rear wheels.
dude what you can b you’re tripping they aren’t fucking illegal mayb advertising strategies have changed since 50 years ago to target different demographics
@Kelly kelly thank you for pointing that out. Dodges motto should be " Buy dodge , we even outsourced our engine to a vendor because we couldn't have done better on our own , we tried with transmissions and we all know how that went , Buy dodge !!"
Well there are many reasons, like inflation, higher manufacturing cost with safety features, better engineering etc. I do wish there were better options though.
Reminds me of my bike. All the kids in my neighborhood have $500 bmx bikes they clean 24/7 and never take offroad or stunt, yet I have a $30 1960's beach cruiser that I can do literally anything with and take offroad
I have a 67 F100, and a 65 C10. The 67 is mine and the 65 C10 was my Dad's. Both with a 4 on the floor. The Chevy has a posi rear end, but I got laid by a red head in the ford. They need to bring back bench seats.
Bruh these old truck commercials are dope but we we aren't seeing are some of the legit weeiird old dodge commercials. Old Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth commercials had some of the most oddly fascinating surgically scientific showoffs tests that youd ever seen. Like they're were HELLA trying to sell you something - but it was all scientificly tested and almost felt detached. There's a saying of "Chrysler was king in the 60's" and it's due to how oddly and seriously their engineering was. Same reason why Mopars are always kind of left out of the whole Ford vs Chevy thing. They were doing their own weird ass thing that somehow kicked ass. But mannnn did that travel through some of their commercials. You wanna see a funny one check out the "Turboencabulator" where they make fun of themselves in their own style.
the turboencabulator video is not a production of chrystler or any other car brand.. bud haggert the guy reading the script came up with it, and shot it in the studio after doing a filming for some GM commercial as a joke since thats what all the scripts sounded like to him
Dodge is garbage always have been always Will be.100 years in and they still can't build a transmission or wire one correctly.we had a SRT with 7 miles on it come through, they said it's totaled,I said what are you talking about,it looks brand new, then I opened the door and it was gutted, the sunroof caught on fire in the showroom and almost burned the whole dealership down.
I want the 3rd Chevy (the one pulling the plane). Not because it can do it... but that it's great looking. :) And this from a die hard Ram truck owner. :)
@@rverro8478 it was actually the fastest production American car or truck that year. It beat the Corvette, mustang and Camaro in the quarter mile . "It was not only a real looker but these trucks were also real performers. In 1978 the Dodge Lil' Red Express was the fastest American made production vehicle from 0 to 100mph as tested by Car and Driver magazine." 360ci, 355 posi rear end, 727 transmission. Very far from a sh"tbox.....
❤️❤️😘🙏🏼💕means a lot to me seeing this man thank you , the first one ☝🏼 wow that late 80’s early 90’s transition are my all time favourite era it’s my generation and it’s so awesomest to revisit that era the fashion the vehicles the culture that was a very beautiful times , all the best thank you from Australia 🇦🇺
Her husband is a idiot that likes to hop up diesel trucks and then ruin them doing stupid shit. Now you are all caught up. I have no clue her name or comment as I am also here for the trucks.
@@Superstallion1993 As I stated already he is a idiot with a YT channel that likes to tear up diesel trucks. Evidently some people like him not sure why. Look him up if you want to know. This thing called Google is amazing it will answer all kinds of questions.
Being an old fart, I really don't remember seeing nearly any of these commercials! Hmm. Well, after the trucks pulled an airplane, mining equipment, trees, all I can say is that the trucks still have usable body parts! LOL. 😄
I remember when I was a little kid in the early 80's, people would say that the future will be Great... Well, here we are many year's into the future n still lookin like Sh*t everyday that passes.. Damn, I miss my childhood back in the 80's !! And thank you Mr. Seger n Chevy for the sound's n nostalgia. 👍🏻😎
I was born in ‘98 so most of these commercials are before my time. But these commercials are just more inviting and have more character than the ones today
My husband has had lie 5 S-10's and they all was great. He ran 1 in the creek. Jammed 1 in reverse and had to drive off a KY strip job to home in reverse. ..lol...he sold the others, and hit a tree with the blazer S-10, it was bad...lol...
These commercials were cool, look we can tow a jet, look we can climb a mountain, look our truck can tow faster than yours, they showed men WORKING. Today its look our moon roof is bigger, look we have led lights, look we have a built in tampon dispenser.
Drove a 77 f-350 in Highschool became a Chevy guy years later. I will say this I’ve always liked the looks of them old dodges. Imo I think out of ford and Chevy dodge stuck to the look of their muscle car counter part, i mean you can tell that the challengers are related to their makers truck.
I had a Dodge exactly like the one the guy was holding up in the last ad. It was an 89 in the same color but it was a diesel W250. Sold it for an 06 Ram diesel 5.9 with a crew cab.
I like chevys but dodges are pretty good to Buying a Ford is like saying your voting for biden a dumbass decision that will win you the Darwin award Trump 2020
@@misterbuklau4053 okay fair point there are some trucks he shouldn't of destroyed like the old Ford my dad has one just like it and he wants to restore it for me but just doesn't have time and I bet if I showed him that truck he would of bought it
Walton Goggins (Justified) 17:09 and thirty seconds prior the one of the actors from the TV show “Deadwood”. The marshal was played by an actor I recognize from “ The Man in the High Castle “, aaaannnd narrated by Sam Elliot.
Chevy , Ford, dodge...I don’t care which fan boy you maybe, these trucks are a hell of alit better than any of the shit any of these companies put out now
Lot of of Chevy trucks with 6 cylinders in them too. That and unless you really need the extra tow power many straight 6 are tough as nails and still have decent torque compared to a v6. The ford 300 is a great engine and will last for ever if taken care of. My dad has one that has never been torn down with 350,000 miles on it still running today. I tell him all the time to go buy a new truck and he says as long as it keeps running he will keep driving it. I mean I personally just shoved a SBC into a 53 5 window truck but that's me .It doesn't mean there is no place for a straight 6 or even a v6. A modern V6 will dust a stock big block from the day. Even ford put a v6 in their new GT.
I wish I could see it again, there was a Ford commercial in the Super Bowl about 18 years ago, a Chevy was pulling a boat out of the water and got dragged in. 2 guys were standing on the hill and looked at each other and said: It sank.. (other) yea, like a rock. :Que “like a rock” music Chevy sued the hell out of Ford and it was banned and scrubbed (I believe)
