This is an old Remington typewriter from 1913.
It's the same who produce rifles, but in 1873 he started to build also typewriters.
It's the first model with the visible writing.
It doesn't mean that with the previous Remington models the ink was invisibile, it means that you didn't saw what you wrote when you were writing it.
Most of the typewriters at the end on last century were like this!
