jack good you are correct, this is someone's old abandoned homemade marine rail car, used by someone with lakefront property to winter their boat in the garage and launch it in the summer months.
Interesting, I didn't see one fish, When I'm in the water skiing or something, I always think that fish are under me looking at me, even plotting against me...
Lake Tahoe water is crystal clear, cold freshwater preserved the wooden frame on the 1920's car. Also water can be dangerous for scuba because since water so clear and one of deepest freshwater lake they would keep swim thinking they are near the surface and end up realize their depth at 300 feet with low oxygen remain.
How far from shore were they? Because how was it even possible for someone to go ahead and ditch them there, a long time later you guys find them on the bottom.

Damn Truckee is pretty, I got caught in a storm and had to go there from I-80 a little rv campground if I remember right, cool people they let us stay the night for free!!
1:45 I have seen wood made to look like that crossmember on old sailing vessels. Very interesting. Is that autos frame made of wood as well? Its both apparently. Looks like great fun.
I think some 1 died and drowned getting chased throughout the woods the brakes stoped working so they drove themselves to there doom long ago in the 1920s
Very little life in the lake. Water is very cold at depth, and since it's fresh water, not much to see. Question for divers; where was this found and how deep were you? Check out my Lake Tahoe dive videos at timothytech1.
