Anupa Mehta is an arts consultant, arts manager and a widely published writer and columnist. She has been associated with art promotion for over two decades. Post her graduation in English Literature, she trained in journalism and arts management. Founding editor, Art India, she was also the contributing editor, Asian Art News and World Sculpture News, Hong Kong.
Her first novel The Waiting Room was published by Penguin India, in June 2007.
Anupa is based in Mumbai. She offers arts consultancy services under Anupa Mehta - Arts & Advisory and art management services through ARTWORKS. She manages an arts project space cum art source, THE LOFT (www.theloft.in) at Lower Parel and an arts residency space Arts Reverie (www.artsreverie.com) in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and is the director of Ahmedabad International Arts Festival, AIAF (www.aiaf.in).
