The Ford explorer looks great and as an adult fan and a collector I like how accurate it is plus the T-Rex and Tim look great too. With that said I feel as a toy the old version is a little better especially for kids as it has more action features.

4:23 A lot of people don’t know this but the jungle was made before the movie released and the toy was made out of the art of the original Ford Explorer blueprints that had a camera on top behind the light bar I hope this helped you better understand the toy accessories.🤗🤗🤗

Im happy yet sad that it was released decades later, i used to dream having the miniscale as a toy when I was little.

The symbols on the recent Jurassic Park stuff is for scanning via an app to get more information on the dinosaur :) I was so happy to get this set and hope they release the other car as a separate pack with hopefully a triceratops and jacketed Ian Malcolm. I would also be tempted to disassemble the car and paint on the extra details, but I'm honestly super content given the price and items included!

Kenner has the best scale of this jeep. The doors not opening does keep the humans inside better during action play. This toy is often flipped upside down and roughed up so I feel the old version is stronger built to last. The idea that you could damage the jeep differently with a removeable hood piece made us often create different scenes. The New Timmy is better but the scale needs to be Kenner but worth collecting. As for the old T-rex? The rubber. If the old Jungle Explorer was able to light up like TLW ground Tracker? Hands down.

Great video! I've never had any of the original Kenner Jurassic Park figures. So it's really surprising to know that they're not 3 and 3/4 inch figures like a lot of other franchises. Weird, I always thought they were. 😃 This T-Rex and Ford Explorer might have to end up in my shopping basket. I've always loved that vehicle from the first movie.

I was never a fan of substituting play features over accuracy.

One thing that really bugs me. The stickers for the taillights are upside down. The reverse lights are supposed to be at the bottom of the taillights, not the top.

Great vid! I got the Kenner one winning out. If the Mattel one had more dino damage areas like a broken tire ability or the hood damage like Kenner, they'd win. But Mattel still hasn't caught Kenner in toy play regard.

I bought 2 sets. I am trashing one of them and creating a diorama based off of Cosplay Chris' beautiful work. The other is going to my grandson for play. I love all the movies, although, Jurassic World 2 was kind of weak in story, IMO.

Should have made it 4.5 inches like the original Kenner!

I love the new Explorer, but I can't stand that it doesn't scale right with Nedry's Jeep. Seriously, put them side-by-side and there's NO way these exist on the same planet. I was very disappointed that these otherwise fantastic toys from the same line don't actually fit together in a believable scale. The Explorer is so much smaller and leaner than the Jeep, which isn't even close to accurate in real life. Kinda sucks, to be honest...

New one looks bit more better why can't they do a model the same as the real one and sell a set

Just like you said with the trailer my favorite however is the Mercedes ml they never made a screen accurate of the truck Mercedes from the pic you showed up above. That one is my favorite movie car of all time I have the RC version of the Mercedes ml the non truck version. However I always wanted the Mercedes ml truck . I hope considering they finally came out with the explorer finally my hopes are high that they will give LOST WORLD the attention it deserves and help us toy collectors with the trailer and the Mercedes which in my opinion are the coolest movie cars ever.

Classic is cool, but for the new i need a version most realistic (scale, metálic, electrónic, etc).

For one of the first times, Mattel seems to crush Kenner.

How did you get it so early?

Compared for playing, the first one is the little better one. Compared to the film, the new one is way more detailed and realistic look like. Never understood, why the old one had such weird rear with rocket launcher. Overall the older car is build way too high and wide compared with the newer size of the figures. Always looked like a car from an alternate movie / series version or something like this. This car shouldn't be a battle tank, never had to! Also the old one lacked the right wheel color and interieur. Sum up: Never liked the old one at all. The new one is far superior, in my opinion.

I know I don’t want to say this because if it only one year but if you see this DNA on dinosaurs foot that DNA it’s called jurassicWorldFacts it’s an app that you had to take your phone and download it and the sign will be DNA if you put it on the dinosaur it will scan it and there’s your dinosaur before you ask how do I know this because I seen this in 2022 but I don’t know what date you were on but don’t worry and that’s how I know it and sorry to say spoilers that’s all supposed to say bye
