(Old) Why YOUR Guild Needs a Support Player

I may not have a brain gentlemen, but I have an idea.

One of the big problem is Linkstrider is so hard to get if you don't have a guild or a friend. I'm a support main, people tend to feel bored when they hear the term "support" but i actually love it, the feeling when you came in clutch with a healing to your allies in a match is just as good as winning a 1v1 to me. Funny thing is Linktstrider is one of the biggest reason why i decide to play this game (i didn't know the requirement at the time, just the ability). Sadly, I'm absolutely sucks when i need to do the fighting but that's the requirement to get Linkstrider, kill other players. I always wonder why they lock a support oath behind a PVP wall, but maybe that's just a skill issue for me.

Another way to help out your support allies is to trap everyone inside gravity field except your support person. What's awesome about this is several things, if another friend in your friends gravity field is low. You can just return them and they can run to heal. You can far more easily use the linkstrider tether abilities when all the enemies are in the gravity field, including throwing potions and bombs since everyone is slower regardless of the variant.

Could you make a video on viable support mantras? I tend to use things like shadow chains with max eternal and aeon logstones to keep someone trapped while my teammates oblterate them or things like shadow seekers with max cloud and stratus stones since you can pop that on someone and still throw bombs/potions while its moving

this is the exact reason I'm trying to make a couple support builds, now that conquest will be a thing, it won't be overkill on say a single voidwalker to have 3 people, one of them being a support

This guy can be a leader. A supporter is someone who observe the battlefield and he can be the commander tbh (he observer to much that my brain start to hurt)

I think your should try blindseer for support once. Mindsoothe is basicaly a better version of linkstriders ally heal since you just lose sanity instead of hp, tranquil circle can make it so it's harder for people to snipe you and catch up since you can just tranquil circle and bomb jump. I'm not saying it's better than linkstrider I just think you should give blindseer a shot at support.

what do you think of using a wind gem on parasitic leech so that you can keep distance better while draining the enemy health?

support have always been very strong, overpowered too but their ability are only revealed when fighting with their ally

How about the tyrant talent tree which focus more on gripping easier? It's useful, like how audacity literally stuns everyone in an radius, there's a talent that applies overcharm when gripping and another one that makes gripping faster when overcharmed. Though honestly the stat requirement is insane like 100 charisma and 50 strength to get the three talents but we have our trusty SoO to get an extra 50 points.

Giving potions to team is pretty good to, like speed potion is OP in pvp
