During the late nineteenth century, there were about 3,000 working mills in Tennessee, including saw, textile, and grain mills. Today there are only a handful of these historic mills still in operation. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to keep them running. Tennessee Crossroads takes us to Cumberland Gap to visit a family that not only keeps the town's old mill running, they've turned it into a Bed and Breakfast. Watch this and more episode segments of Nashville Public Television's Tennessee Crossroads.

The new owners have made this place even better. The breakfast they serve is the best food in the county. I have lived in Cumberland Gap since 2012 and I can personally recommend this B&B. It is a town treasure.

I love history and old towns. I wish I would have talked more to my Grandpas and Grandma! They lived in this time period. If my Grandpas were alive they would both be 136. Born the same year, 1880. My Grandma would be 113. The things I wish I could ask them now!! Folks, you get to talk to your Grand parents, Don't put it off, they will be gone one day.

Beautiful!! I miss Tennessee so much. Like Dorothy said in the Wizard of Oz, there's no place like home.
