I was a member in 1986 …. I still have my laminated membership card. I skipped school to go there in my senior year. We all did! Senior skip day. I went to the Rixen!!!
We lived at Rixen Quiet Waters in the 80s. Starting in 84/85, until 91/92. Hard to believe it's been 37 years ago already. That's probably 10-15 years before most of you were even born yet. I have so many stories of how things used to be there back then. It wasn't just Ski Rixen in the 80s, It was just the 80s all together. What a Great time to be young in South FL. @@jboneill If you're ever short on 💰 and don't have enough to ride the cable, take a mask and snorkel down to turn #1. That's where all the beginners get Yoked and loose cash and watches and jewelry and it sits on the bottom in the grass. And while you're under water, you'll actually hear the beeps from digital watches, on the hour and half hour. Not joking,,,,, I've pulled thousands of dollars In cash and jewelry outta that lake. Mostly at turn 1. Had a few run ins with water moccasins also. Such good times back then. Banged a lot of girls back in the park also 😃 . The park used to be filled with Australian pines back then. It was a forest, wasn't always wide open like it is now.
An average wakeboarder: never ever even thought about to try a double half cab, but if try, they would probalbly die JB: if falls, then wait for the rain to stop :D But he doesnt fall

ok, what happens if you fall? the way to the start/finish would take like forever. is there a bus or something? how do they charge you, number of starts? I've never seen anything this huge before ...
Hie, JB. Been watching your videos and I havent ever tried cable that goes around. There isn´t any video were you are swimming back to the starting point after you have misplace yourself in the water :D So I would like to know how long does it take to get yourself back in the starting point? Do u swim back or go to the shore and walk back?? Here in Finland the cable just go from a to b and back and u pay 20€ for one hour and u need to share that one hour for four people if you are unlucky. Like the stuff, keep rolling. PS. Started to subscripe

Hey I’m really sorry if it seems like I’m bothering you but lately I’ve been having quite a lot of trouble getting up on my wake board and I use the bench to start and the front end usually just goes down into the water I usually need a push getting up I can up by myself a few times but usually need help
Keep your knees bent Point your toes up Don’t hop off the bench too early, let the cable pull you off Absorb the yank with the handle close to your front hip

I learned to ride cable there and NEVER liked the weed growth...yuk, AND I've seen it worse than when you where there. Lotsa euro riders at Rixen for some reason?
