Thank you so much for sharing this video! I have the opposite problem on mine… the phalange/button inside won’t go down far enough for me to install the brace on the buffer tube. I need to remove about 1/16th inch of material from the button, so it will be able to clear the buffer tube and properly install! I needed to know how to properly disassemble and reassemble, and your video was exactly what I needed! THANK YOU!!!😊
Rather than removing material from the button, I believe if you use a flat blade screwdriver to push the cross pin away from the brace, the button will retract enough for you to mount the brace. Good luck.
I actually ordered my father in law one and when it came in it looked better then my real one so I gave him the real one & I kept this knock off 😂 it feels better and looks nicer.
I have 2 real and one Wish/China SBA3 brace’s and I can’t see any difference really and it’s sad that the real SBA3’s are still fairly expensive and on par with China copies. I haven’t seen a fake Tailhook yet lol but I’m sure they are out there. Cool Video
@@ed00001 yes it does, the one I received from Wish worked but was really tight. I haven’t noticed if they actually unscrew like the real ones but I’ll check to see if it can be swapped for a new QD socket.
I put a roll of electrical tape under the stock so the pin was over the center hole in the tape and then pushed the pin out by tapping a jeweler's Philips head screwdriver with a hammer. I'll make a video of the process tomorrow. I need to perform this modification on a friend's brace.

Based on the price, I thought I was buying a factory second. The seller didn't advertise it as a Chinese knock off and would not reply after I made the purchase.
😂 your just a fool because their literally identical in every way . I compared the Amazon brace to the genuine brace and not only do they look 10/10 spot on they function better meaning the Amazon brace is more snug so you enjoy that rattle at the end of your tube , I’ll use the extra cash on ammo 😚
