Good stuff. I really would like to get my hands on a syntakt one day. I love my octatrack. It's just really expensive and I worry about having the same gear as a lot of other people. Elektron just makes good stuff though so it's hard to not want it. I could escape a train with my Octatrack if I had to, the thing is SOLID.

Thank you! Octatrack can just more in terms of samples, midi or inputs. I decided at that time for the Digitakt instead of the octatrack but it's a beast. 😁 A "synthesizer" to a sampler is always a good idea. Octa and syntakt/digitone or an analog4. But too many grooveboxes can make you go in circles. To limit yourself to 2-3 devices is ok.

@ That’s something I’ve also found out. Too many boxes is like too many people in a band. They disagree on what is what and nothing gets done 😂

@@koalemos1679 Yes, of course you can have a lot of equipment on the table. I know some who work with many desktop synthesizers and grooveboxes. It is never used all at once. One has rather much there to cover a wide sound palette. Sometimes you use the 303, sometimes the modular system. So even if you have a lot of equipment, you like to limit yourself for a good workflow. :)
